just speculation on my part - I don't understand the tax rules on options (here or australia) but i would imagine the notional gain on conversion will be subject to taxation. They may be anticipating a much higher price (scally hits? Hav buy out?) and prefer to limit their tax liability to the gain on current, lower, price...
Anold one I'm afraid - back in 2018 - doesn't look as though anything will come of it...
I suspect there are still some placing shares being drip fed into the market.. should keep the rise gentle until such time as they are cleared then this could move quickly upwards. The question is how many more are left? Any news on off-takes and it should blow!
We are with you. Keep your pecker up lol. Health and happiness work together! Hope you have the BEST day ever! Philip.
Good to have someone with your industry knowledge 'on board' (or possible about to board!).. not advice obviously but you must be aware that the final (air quality) approval hurdle could be over as soon as tomorrow. It may be that Sunrise might have some 'oven-ready' (to coin a phrase :) ) off take agreements up their sleeve. Perhaps not of course but we must believe that once permitting is completely over we will enter a news rich period for the company. Don't wait too long if you do decide to invest..
wouldn't be surprised if the last day under 30 was today - there seems to be a pattern of late flurries of buys especially in the run up to expected news..
Would be nice to be able to showcase Bushveld's full capability and the scale of the opportunity for South Africa of an integrated Mining, Solar, Storage and Electrolyte production facility all on one site wouldn't it!
A word (actually 5 words lol) of caution... be careful what you wish for. We don't know the motivation behind this is. They may wish to take it private and strip the assets before they reach fair value...Happy to be reassured...
my thoughts exactly and now the uncertainty about the fundraise is gone I can see the upward path in sp resume after an initial knee-jerk sell off from small pis. Good news! Does anyone doubt where this is going? (apart from yellow of course lol).
Common to put these clauses in.. unlikely to use anywhere near that. They just need a small amount for now - Peel will be paying for Protos and will also be paying £500k exclusivity fee soon. Prudence demands a small raise in the interim...
TSI have released an update from WeShop (I expect we'll follow later): https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/TSI/weshop-update/14666814
Seems that they are on the cusp of full launch. Will be fascinated to hear who the lead investor is - might be a boost in itself. Overall it seems our £875k investment is broadly flat. In the current circumstances I'm happy enough with that. atb
Like I mentioned earlier - not unhappy with the placement... obviously a shame for very recent newcomers timing wise but we've all been there i suspect and i doubt any new holders will be underwater for long. A little disappointment for me might be the mechanism for us to participate in the offer - I can't be *rsed to apply -- might have done if through Primary Bid. I fear the offer will be undersubsribed not through lack of faith in the story but through the convoluted mechanism ..(a shame on many fronts).
also happy with the placement... I'm sure PC has acted in our (and his as a significant shareholder) best interest - a little dilution now and we get to keep 100% of the profit stream - compared to a (perhaps more popular with some) farm in where me might lose a significant percentage...just a case of looking more long term.
Hello - Couldn't resist being the first to post! (how childish!) Anyway can any holder out there tell us what the ipo was priced at - 36p? Looking forward to have a good root around the new website - sounds like ground breaking products. Expect I'll invest here once I've done the requisite...
something's afoot! (you might end up missing your planned re-entry point XPB) :)
Might be interested myself - I'll be keen to see their website once up and running to take a look in more detail..
I do understand the disappointment. The IPO will, however, have been 'priced to sell' and I would expect a reasonable uplift once any impatient pre ipo investors are cleared. To be honest the stake can now at least be valued objectively - previously it would have been valued by the market at cost at best! Let's hope the newsflow from truspine picks up and some interest is generated. Engage is the big one - excited about that.
our stake
already looking cheap - ticked up on bid and ask..
Also looking for a answer here.. just speculation but there is (or was at least!) a 3500sq km vanadium claim adjacent to Largo's land held by maxtech ventures that might be in play.. can't find out much recent news about it but we could be interested perhaps (directly or as a stalking horse for Largo lol) ... probably just just a wild wild guess and well wide of the mark!
With respect I suggest you look again TheeDuke . The ask at close yesterday was .48 and was .48 immediately after the trade in question. The 3000000 was at a price over the ask (as you would expect) at the time the trade took place..
