back up testing 260p resistance again, exciting day - much better than the miserable weather lol

well...it hit 260p for a short while but has fallen back around 254p at the mo. Is that it for today or is there more to come? Could easily be more, but if not, then a close around 254p would still be nice & bullish :D

if the price is able to rise and hold @ 250p or above today then the next logical target in my mind would be 260p. It's just how rises like this often go .... we've had 240p then 250p resistance levels, so 260p seems the next psychological level.

The chart now appears to be in a bullish rising channel with the top of the channel / resistance currently around 322p. (the top of the channel is drawn from the 240p resistance on 20th July - mad Monday). By the end of August the resistance will have risen to around 352p.

News could change everything of course.

But in the meantime, it would be good to see the price hold above 250p -- will the MMs even be able to hold it below ?

hear hear Miagi & Optimus, if and that's a very big if anyone with ill-intent towards SOLG ever bothered to read this bb, they would have long-since gleaned that many holders on here want a sale - but at the right price. It's not a secret !!

Nothing to worry about imho as the price takes another 'breather' which it's already done 3 times previously since 'mad Monday' on the 20th July. It gives the RSI a chance to cool off a bit too.

On the 1 day candlestick chart, there is a clear line of rising support from the 23rd July, which is currently @ about 221p.

Because this is a rising support, it will be @ about 225p tomorrow and 229p on Thursday.

The price is showing great strength and is obviously in a waiting-mode for news. If no news is forthcoming this week, then a bounce off the support tomorrow or Thursday is to be expected with the price rising to test last Friday's 250p resistance.

.... but i take your point that investors were prepared to pay up to 250p in serious wonga...so appears to be a very postive indication as you say :D

Morning Mrninja, chart indicators have been around for decades now. I guess their names derive from their shapes. Up to you if you aren't a 'believer' in them but imo you're missing a trick by not having them in your investing toolbox, alongside fundamentals research. atb

Nice bit of excitement this morning with the SP but has since been consolidating in a BULLFLAG pattern on the 5 minute candles.

Looks like another upwards move coming now, and I wouldn't be surprised if the 250p is retested today or even broken above. aimho of course
