Hi littlened, 'wokeness' doesn't come into it IMHO. I'm suggesting that tone and phrasing is important in convincing your audience that you have a credible argument that is worth listening to. It's usually just as important as the content itself. I don't like it myself - but that's the reality.

Careful with your phrasing if this is a point to take to an authority figure. It could be characterised as xenophobia by your opposition (even if it isn't) and used to dismiss your point. You may want to characterise it more in terms of 'protecting energy security' or suchlike. Something that puts the emphasis on protecting British interests, rather than guarding against foreigners.

The strength of response is irrelevant (it's nice of them to reply but courtesy is all that reply contains) because HUR are currently in the driving seat. For that to change, what you need is the court proceedings to go the way you want. This email is of no importance at all.

I don't know where the media come in priority order in the strategy to challenge things, but I would just caution you guys that the media won't care if you win or lose. They only care about getting a story. And bear in mind they get paid if they write the story before or after the end result. So if it's a case of priorities and allocating your time wisely for best results, I would prioritise people/groups/authorities other than the media.

Hi all, I only recently heard of EUA. Finding quality stocks is not easy, and I only wish I'd found EUA earlier. I avoided the recent peak and snaffled some at 22p so if the sale comes off I should do very nicely. I know that many here were in from the early days. How did you hear about EUA? How are you going to find your next EUA?

Yes, me too. I think the current board were brought in with an agenda in mind, and not an open mind. That strikes me as going against the spirit of what a BoD should be doing, as you touched upon with your comments about shareholders before.

Fair enough, and apology accepted. And I accept that I can also be an arse on occasion, so I apologise for that if so too.

I do understand why my view is going to annoy some people because it's hard to see something that was so promising go down in flames. My view hasn't changed yet but I do hope I turn out to be wrong. It wouldn't reverse my 95% loss but it would be nice to see the corporate barstewards get their comeuppance and with some of the posts I read today about FCA, well maybe there's a glimmer of hope. Although I'm not a holder now I will pop back every so often to follow the story. Good luck!

What's with the insult? I've been in many stocks over the years and it's precisely that bitter experience that allows me to confidentally say 'trust me, it's better to let go'. Much better for one's mental health. Note that in my post I am not saying 'trust me for stock picking advice'. I would never say that, even though I actually am doing rather well now after recovering from some big setbacks. AIM is a steep learning curve!

Note that 'letting go' mentally does not mean stopping any action one might thing necessary. Whether that be writing to your MP, the FCA, selling stock or whatever. That's up to you.

adoubleuk, Perhaps if you stopped being so emotional and quit the insults you'd actually be able to see the point I was trying to make. I'll put it another way - the BoD don't have enough skin in the game - i.e. shares or options. That's the lack of alignment I was pointing to. I do agree with you generally, and if you are a genuine LTH wanting some money back then I'm actually on your side. So I don't understand why you keep attacking me?

The BoD aren't interested in making you money. They aren't aligned to your interests.

There's not a lot of truth coming from you and your gang of sharks. The only 'truth' is in the SP and the RNSes. And they say it all I'm afraid.

Actually senseman, I don't. I don't care if they are doom mongers or insanely positive. Someone read their post wrong and tried to claim something that wasn't true and I pointed it out. Simple as that. For some reason, there's a small number of posters who have got uppity about that for reasons I don't understand. I am assuming that these people are badly affected by the decline in SP and are nursing losses, and this is affecting them badly. I totally understand and they have my empathy. This includes you, even if you are disrespectful to me. I wish financial hardship on no anonymous internet stranger.

Write to the FCA by all means. Please be aware that the FCA has a reputation for doing pretty much nothing when it comes to AIM irregularities. So if you intend to change the current course of HUR don't rely on it as your sole tactic would be my advice.
