Of today's 49 posts so far about 10 have had even a passing relevance to PM, the remainder are as usual a complete waste of time.

When the refinery is completed and is processing oil produced in Mongolia a substantial amount of this will be supplied from the Dornod fields, some will still probably have to come from Russia and China until Mongolia's reserves can catch up. The Dornod - Sainshand pipeline is not being built just for the fun of it.

The main reserves are based in Dornod.

Who owns substantial areas of these reserves?

That is why I am still relatively happy to hold a substantial holding, albeit currently with a loss amounting to many tens of thousands of pounds.

The AGM next week may bring up a few answers.

I dealt with Chinese companies for many years until I retired.

As it appears that Reeves, a women singularly one of the least competent people to be chancellor, has rowed back on increases in income tax.

Shen now needs to find substantial amounts of tax elsewhere. Banks will certainly be an attractive target.

Ms Reeves, a lady who relied on someone else apparently to write her CV, who would appear to have had someone else give her incorrect infromation concerning the law relating to tenancies, has at least stated that her tax rises will be fair, (which is what she should do).

Unfortunately her interpretation of fair would, on the face of it, be based on taxing elements of the population who predominantly do not vote for Labour Landlords, along with Farmers, land owners, small businesses and pensioners and as Lloyds in heavily involved with property one could possibly understand her willingness to ensure that these areas of tax payers will do their bit to ensure fairness for all.

Dividend not great, but certainly not disasterous, so I am not buying any more at the moment, but they sit alongside other dividend paying shares in an ISA.

Have held them for many years, the dividends have accumulated and I am also making a good profit on the capital.

Only a short time, bought 3000 in May '23 at average £1.5045, unfortunately sold 217 when the price reached £4.6096 and a further 1500 a week later when the price reached £4.7297 as I thought that's pretty high and I wanted some cash to put into Rockhopper which haven't not done too badly and have given me a 377% increase (14.26p to 71.60p)

He is not and never has been a CEO, a geologist of course, but a CEO .. No!

As a titular CEO he has failed completely over the years, he is incapable of the demands of a true CEO.

He has failed in his legal duty to shareholders and one can but hope that the continued destruction of the share value of the company is indeed due to his incompetence in the role and not an underhand attempt to force out all but a few select shareholders, including himself.

I do recall something similar happening with Hurricane which was foiled by CRS and their financial strength and legal ability to stop the illegal and immoral theat of the company.

The many years that he was unable to negotiate the complexities of the Mongolian system, the statement that the company was fully funded followed in extrementy short measure with an overly destructive fund raise, the extremely optimistic statement that the one producing well showed output in the 100's of barrels a day when in reality it produces a dribble in comparison the his statements.

The share price has been eroded because the market has no faith whatsoever in MB, in similar situations he would probably be removed, however he will not be. The company does have a value and may indeed come good eventually, however this depends on whether or not MB is indeed just an incompetent CEO or if there is an alternative reason.

One can only hope that the former is the reality.

As I have said previously I'm still happy to hang on and if I lose my entire investment then it will be a pity, but not a massive loss. Though I did get rid of a small amount recently and stuck the cash into my RR holdings, which has made up for some of the Matad losses.
