Roxy..
"Look on the positive side RG. "
Not at all I have ever written the company off, my only previous concern was based on the fact that Mongolia was classed as the 113 most corrupt country in the world (though admittedly they are over the last year or so they have started to do something about this) and that MB was not able to progress at a sensible pace due to the constant delays put in his way.
The wastage of the countries resources had left Mongolia in desperate need of new sources of income and the proven oil finds under PM's licence are of absolute necessity to the country, this was further reinforced by the Indian Governments agreement to build the refinery.
No question in my mind that the company would come good, indeed very good.
My somewhat jaundiced view of the current price is based on MB's assertion that the company was fully funded only a few weeks previous to his decision to drop the 40% bombshell on the share price with what I believe was a substantially over reaction to his stated need for further funds.
I and a fair number of LTH's who have over the years supported the company were badly served by not being able to purchase a more generous amount on the same terms and even allowing for the somewhat meagre scraps allowed to LTH's many of us have invested substantial amounts in the company and are still well below water.
I have no doubt that I will make a pleasant profit in due course, but it is a little galling that LTH's will probably be in a less than successful situation than all new investors who have not supported the company for more than a month or so.
And Roxy, your guess of 8 - 9p was mine as well so I was expecting and am still expecting a 100% profit on my total investment, so if it does then a profit of around £100,000 won't be to dismal :)
