Bluey - As I keep pointing out. The 'December run' as due to some good contract and corporate asset news (augmented by a solid update). This is run is all dividend players and optimism (which is great) but it needs to be underpinned with some solid contract news, which we haven't had in months.

Just have to hope this good buzz doesn't fade off.

Alto - IR told me ages ago they don't RNS under �100m.

shads - Could also been someone averaging down. Possibly a fund.

SD - Someone bought �4.5 million a few weeks ago at 475 just before it dropped, so sometimes the big trades down't indicate anything. Hopefully another good day tomorrow. Remember, Every Friday could be RNS day'

NT22 - I see directors not buying as a plus. They are not allowed to buy ahead of news, also buying at low levels can be seen as a mark of desperation. It's a bit of a mine field.

Bluey - It depends on your confidence in the price coming back quickly and how long you want to be in the share. I've seen shares drop quite a bit and then keep in the doldrums for a while due to the fact that the pre-divi pump has put the SP way beyond where it should naturally be. Hopefully Asfari and co will have some news lined up just after to keep the SP bobbing. I'm becoming a little concerned that, a little like Q4, contract news seems a little long in coming.

Bluey - My only concern is that the divi is paid in USD, the dollar is all over the place at the moment, so I hope they pick a good day for the FX spot. Those of us with bigger holding can land up losing out quite a bit on FX.

Seems to me that DSAM are just a small outfit who shadow the plays of bigger operations like AQR etc in the hope that they get the crumbs (based on their expensive research). I feel they have probably predicted a short term push down but there is unlikely to be any inside intelligence on this one otherwise they would have gone in far harder than they have.

huwie - Been in KAZ for 2 years and I'm not late of PFC either. This board is generally dead so a unjust negative post can stick around for weeks.

It's never going to get there when people come onto boards deramping.

Power - I think it was a combination of. Sell on news crowd - Pre-Orders Copper dropping over night Red Indexes (Wall Street is getting heated over IR rises this year) Manipulation. Go have a look at AAL, another company who released great numbers today and a divi increase. Almost exactly the same shape.

Has anyone looked out the window and seen copper and the indexes fall? On the subject of the Dividend, AAL dropped almost exactly the same amount on opening but everyone else in the sector only slightly impacted. My guess is that MMs used the soft market to drop the price for big buy-ins, helped as always by the Sell on News orders that had been placed regardless. This will finish over 820 at COB. Nothing to worry about.

Both KAZ and AAL put out great results and then both get dropped way beyond everyone else in the sector. Yeah right. Well done MMs

Rastuss - The same conditions/covenants could easily apply to acquisitions and other progressive capital expenditure. These are often geared to around EBITDA 3.5 but are negotiable if it is deemed that is it beneficial to the company overall.

Automony - It' needs to provide shareholders a solid dividend as this has a tendency of locking in investors and funds and consolidating a price range. I tend to agree but it would be good for them to express a desire to get in the 100 at some point, They need to stabilise the SP to around 950-1100 (a little like ANTO) as what was exciting to be in last year is now starting to make people seasick.
