It's worth pointing out that it wasn't until lunchtime that this thing began to move yesterday. I kind of expect the same today to be honest. Obviously, anything that puts this higher before that point can only make things better. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some modest director buys go in now in order to prop the price.

Twiddler - I get your point. News flow is critical for this stock now. The longer they go without a follow-up RNS or some form of communication the quicker the rally will dry up. They have to put something out in the next 24 hours as to the next steps otherwise this could just evaporate. That said, a snappy RNS could easily double or triple to price from here.

Yep, no reason at the moment. Don't like to talk things down but I've naturally toned down my bullish view due to the wild volatility and generally low contract wins over the last 2-3 months. This has always been about the SFO and or TO in my view. The stock should be around 750-900. So we are still miles off getting there. That said, how long it will take to get there will be down to the aforementioned factors.

Alto - The softening of the stance will bring some relief in the oil markets. Problem is the surplus posted during the week will then kick in and we could see turbulence in the coming days. Also, PFC is approaching the 'magic number' again, one of those psychological points where people have a tendency of taking profit due to past experience, so could be an interesting few days.

bonum - Maybe you want to look at the Italian issue from last year. I don't think Asfari would want any whiff of 'insider knowledge' to be levelled at himself again. Which makes me think the acquisition was a prop and nothing else.

Bonum - Fair points but my feeling is that the director buy was an attempt to bolster the lack of decent big contracts. It's certainly kept this board chattering and speculating but its effect will begin to wear off if no big contracts are forthcoming. The oil price is heading north mainly due to the tensions in the middle east. Away from that, Wednesday's crude inventories showing a large surplus which could bite should the tensions in the ME diminish.

Yes. My concern is that if oil softens (OPEC Report this afternoon) that post the Divi being paid out we could see a severe drop unless the guys can get some BIG contract news out to keep the ball in the air , so to speak. Thus far the contract news has not been sparkling enough to restore confidence that PFC are kicking it with the big boys again this year.

shadows - This is where you are wrong. Research into Asfari indicates close ties with the Syrian resistance movement. Did you know there was a Syrian arrest warrant out for Asfari? The Asafri Foundation is one of the key pro-europe players in the region and would benefit enormously should the Syrian regime fall. Start digging, it's fascinating.
