Contrary to some of the opinion expressed yesterday, should the tariff noises begin calm down then I think we will see a steady climb back towards 400 next week.

Trump is meeting Putin a couple of months after slapping tariffs on Russia, so it clearly seems like a pre-talks tactic. A couple of weeks of 'roughing up' with rhetoric and then lots of background discussion before the novelty 'treaty' pens are broken out. Expect 'talks' in September to be announced within a couple of weeks.
