Iamhoping Yes I did sell some at £10.25 not a panic sell it was 2% of my holding in them on shares I got at £1.06p and I bought a mining ETF with the money which has made more money than keeping it in RR. all because you sell a few RR does not mean you stop making any money !!

Plus I wanted to put some money in a sipp for the final year, so the money I got from RR ISA sale TAX free at £10.25 has made me 47% in 2 months :-)

RR is 42% of my pot still, onwards and upwards in 2026.

Plus I see fordm is scared to even post a Dec 2026 price even for fun lol not a team player.

my pot and all it shares are part of this new life. nothing bad to say really with my choices.

IAG is as much as amazing share to me as RR is. covid 85p now £4.20 a 400% rise.

I am hoping my M&S will be the the next one to land a 50% rise :-) RR really is very unknown now looking at the predictions some one said £12.90 some say £20.

I gambled that M&S short term will out do RR time will tell again.

RR now a big spread and thus people look for new ways to get big gains , some went to mining and out stripping RR and then some the last year.

one thing is for sure in my mind if you want a 25% gain in 2026 it's not going to be RR. but I hope it is i hold loads still :-)

2025 was a record year i don't see 2026 being that great returns wise in any share, I think we have a flat few years where seeing 50% pot gains are gone unless you gamble on mining stocks. I was going to buy an ETF in mining today it's up 3.6% this morning !!! I will dabble but in an ETF I think.

It's one of those bubbles, silver is a daft price imo, but time will tell.

Svend my ave in Lgen is £2.20 and I got a 9.3% div or there about on it, a great share in my pot.

I am not after a growth share in this segment, I am after div income and Lgen is one of the best esp if you get in low.

I take out the main div and reinvest the interim div to keep with inflation.

I get £34k in divs so if we have a stale year I still pay myself without taking money out my pot :-)

I also hold Aviva in this segment which has offered good Growth and great div.
