Buyers of M&S food don't really worry about tariff's on cars exported to the USA.

I bought M&S to get a 50% gain in quite a short time frame maybe even 60/70%. Like wise I hold lloyds at 105% up in 2025 Aviva 85% up in 2025, RR 122% up in 2025.

2025 been one of my best years.

Svend it's just a nice balanced pot with RR weighting :-) and a big div income.

M&S vs RR is a long race for sure in 2026, 16 days in both doing well RR 7.93% plays M&S 11.85% edging out a bigger lead today . Mining ETA still in front at 12.8% but had ahead start. As I type M&S has pulled another head lead catching up the ETF. RR lagging at 7.6% M&S strong at 12.45% on the ETA heals now. 349 days to go.

I said on here M&S will out class RR in 2026 profit wise, lets see, every one laughs but it's ahead after 15 days so far. RR 6.37% M&S 12% but we are only 15 days in :-) who knows in 12 months which will return the most.

Me I went a bit mad on M&S and then on a ETF mining stock. BUT I KEEP RR :-) it just keeps making me money and it still 42% of my whole pot.

I hold a lot of Lgen for div's in my SIPP and ISA and I hold a lot of IAG as again makes me money way above inflation year on year it's 400% up after covid !

I don't see people as " less fortunate" to be honest ,I risk my own money and if I get tips or see chart move I post my tips.

EVERY one can retire at 55 if they follow a few rules. NO such thing as " less fortunate" imho.

me and carrington were buying these at £3.28 in the dip and i got most of mine at £3.33

today we are at £3.63

why do you keep trading a recovery stock ? do you want to stay working class all your life :-) because you are not getting rich snipe trading making £340 !!

ytd that's 15 days i have not bought or sold any shares but yet up £75k in 15 days.

get of of snipe trading and start investing if you want to be rich is my best advice to you.

you say you did not see it coming yet the sp has been to £4.20 again since the crash and we all keep saying it's a £6 share in 12/18 months.

it's def a £4 share in a very short time.

get out of this mindset and invest money , because investing long term unless you are rain man is the only way to be wealthy.
