If they don't hit that I'll buy back in after the war what ever the price I guess high £13's knowing it was a gamble and I expect £15 in 12 months and £17.50 in 24 months. Just nice to hold a bit of cash atm.

Strategically, it would have been one of the cheapest forms of national security the UK could have bought. just 1.9% of the UK defence cost.

The UK didn’t stock up when oil was cheap because the system is market‑driven !

so the UK only hold the legal minimum even though we all know we are getting more wars and issues !!!

WE added money to defence but are not protecting the UK oil reserves past the legal reequipment !

We have stores for oil security yet we fail to ever use it ! what am I missing ? :-)

We could have stocked up 100 million barrels just for a tiny $1.8 billion cost a tiny cost vs the £74 billion defence budget !

oil = defence this war backed up the Ukraine war oil price rises yet we did not buy any cheap oil !

Ok here are the stats, we gave away 13 million barrels !! ok made a big profit I hope on those 13.5 million.

in 2 weeks we only buy in 6 million barrels , we have 70 million in reserve ! STOP buying OIL in for 2 weeks !!!

DON'T buy in any oil for 30 days !! and ban any petrol increases for 30 days, also fine/BAN the home oil suppliers who have triple home heating oil.

WE have reserves to last 90 days this is the time to use it one would have thought !

SEEMs odd to me the WW oil panic when every one has 90 days reserves. if all 32 countries did not buy any oil for just 30 days it would not be $100

We buy our oil from Norway but they are at the bottom of the list and don't give any lol 0.3 million barrels.

Seems the USA giving 1/2 their reserves away. and they have run it down a bit already

China holds 1.1–1.3 billion barrels of oil guess what they are not giving any away. and they were upping their reserves while it was cheap !!!

Depends if the UK keeps giving our reserves away !

Another point 400 million barrels of oil, UK is also giving 13 million barrels away ! well selling it.

Why can we just not keep it, we all known China will be the country bidding on it !

The UK government actively enforces sanctions and does not allow Iranian crude into the UK market.
