I would defend my £4 per share for takeover as realistic in the short term. It is the point at which AN's bonus shares are triggered (so he might be willing) and values the company's current situation before Parsortix starts to dominate the global market. If a takeover did happen I'd be more than happy, as I would move profits into the company taking our IP forward.

1.06 sounds a good launch pad to me - FDA approval doubles the share price = 212. Then a fade back for a discreet amount of time courtesy of institutionals trying to get in cheaper, THEN the serious move up over a few weeks to around buy-out price = £4 +. How does that sound Jel?

trust is not lost - it is simply a case of ennui (and I accept it has been dull), but the stars are now aligned, so go somewhere else if you don't like the way they are pointing...

don't talk nonsense Ted - most of us have both, and I have a bit more SBTX than OPTI, but it doesn't prevent me seeing what will happen here - don't be blinkered....

that's rubbish and you know it Phat - 50% underpinned by SBTX (and more to come - imagine when it's nearer 100!) with IP worth twice the MCAP and increasing revenue - it just requires a little more patience, then it will pop....

some curious buy/sell action beginning to develop - and a few B&Is by the look of it - all good signs in my book. Interesting to see if in a month or so it will go beyond the 96p posted last time expectation was in the air...?

sounds pretty good analysis, as far as it goes - the wild card is news - clinic contracts, more research, ovarian trials, resubmission - all are short term drivers for a rise, but none of them especially matter in the context of the FDA response.

not sure ISAs will feature OPTI much - everyone will go straight for SBTX - it will be interesting to see when the sudden realisation that OPTI is seriously undervalued dawns on those SBTX investors - when they get to 70p +, I'd suggest....

agreed wynd - 84 - 86 key resistance area, will likely be broken with pharma contract details, and resubmission I would expect to stabilise things above 90p. My ISA going in this week too - I was hoping for 79p but not looking likely so far.

agreed, although we have to remember that Parsortix approval will unlock a minimum £8B p.a. market, so although the clinics can sustain this SP, the 'binary play' still exists in that the SP will either be around here, or 5, 6, 7, 8 times higher. That said, I don't believe it is a binary play - Parsortix has proved itself to many academies and clinics already, outshines all its competitors, and will transform cancer diagnosis and treatment for decades to come. If the FDA delay it further, they will have blood on their hands.

indeed, they make a loss! but these are always based on potential, and the customer base is now huge, with Covid restrictions still applicable in many countries for the foreseeable, and folk getting used to the idea of having posh food brought in...
also remember Facebook was similarly trashed on IPO!

without wishing to antagonise anyone, this is the kind of price I was hoping for following the fundraise announcement. I hate it when directors award themselves cheap shares at the expense of private investors. Have doubled down at 102.5 which now gives me the same 110 average as the fat cats.
