well AN has £7M in shares at the moment, and if someone offered £28M for them tomorrow, plus an extra £12M for the bonus shares, I dare say I'd be tempted. All a question of how much patience/what ambitions, as with all of us.

it will be US companies, not Biden, who see the potential well in advance, and try to take advantage - but they'll need to pay for that - in excess of £4 per share, for reasons now well established, and up to £12 if they leave it too late....

I agree with Div that the significance of the contract is the verification by a major company. As more contracts land, they will alone justify this level of SP, but I believe we all now know that there are three inflection points coming fast - the first resubmission, then the FDA response, then Nasdaq (that way round IMO) and then interest from a large medical instruments PLC (T-F etc) - whether their overtures are accepted or not, it will redefine Angle's status and MCAP.

it will be interesting this afternoon to see whether the US wades in as well, and we see slow substantial accumulation as on Friday - the market is finally waking up to Angle, but the fireworks haven't even been taken out of the box, let alone lit.

I'm not sure about the 'built-in' aspect - there will be other jumps on more contracts and when the company announce they have resubmitted - the reaction to that news will add some 'built-in' for sure, but FDA approval kicks every share that has been received it sky-high regardless of the starting price on the day.

not even the mezzanine - FDA approval will be the mezzanine, when the SP goes over £2 - then AN can really begin to build his skyscraper by transforming the world of liquid biopsy and diagnostics - to the benefit of millions... (even billions in fact)

gawd, you are correct in recalling me speaking of £4 as a potential buyout price, but you did not take account of the discussion context. I was pointing out that AN had a hefty lump of performance-related options that can vest once the SP was above £4, and that therefore that would need to be a minimum offer. The other thing to bear in mind, however, is that if an early offer were to come in, we may be offered shares in the new company - or, with our piles of cash, could buy into it and the world-class potential of Parsortix. £1+ Monday?

the market won't get especially excited by this (I was in Open Orphan at 12p when modest contracts began to dribble in - now look at it - though alas I sold at 36p) as the revenue to MCAP doesn't seem compelling at first, and traders not 'in the know' (FDA etc) look away again. I'm still a buyer up to £1.20 on small dips, so quite happy about this. I will also buy after we hear back from the FDA, but that will be mayhem.

crucial to remember this is the tip of the iceberg - no selling please until we are north of £2! (I can say that now I have my ISA at 82p)

great to see the first of these I'd hoped for, even before certification! it's important not just for the cash, but the ringing endorsement of the technology - imagine the potential when larger pharmas catch wind of what's going on... My only question is, couldn't this have waited until Monday, rather than a sleepy Friday?

the results themselves are unlikely to be of much interest, but post-period developments might include some pearls, indeed a pearl might be cast before swine prior to the release. There may even be an update on the additional FDA analytics - I wonder if they could get them done by then??

actually no wynd, the cash was in my account and I just bought the extra £5K without thinking! (only a fraction of my holding)
