RBeach, don't let the MMs fool you with their games - shares rarely behave as you expect because they (the MMs) too are in the prediction game and are second-guessing every move. here is a classic little tree-shake, 'get the minions worrying so they cash out for lesser profits' move. Best just to buy the number of shres you feel cofortable with and sit on your hands until results, or long after, in fact...

Br3xit I agree that FDA approval is being treated as a fact (my personal view is that is is as close to fact as an FDA submission can be), but mere expectation previously pushed this to 96p (BEFORE we heard there had been no delay so far, and that the company were 'confident' of answering the questions), so it is reasonable to assume that 96p could soon be exceeded once Angle submit their response to questions in May. What exactly happens in between may depend on pharma and clinic news, but there is also the ISA recommendation and the NASDAQ carrot to consider. I will be standing by with £20K after April 6 looking for the deepest dip, but I'm not holding my hopes for anything under 80.

thanks for the info everyone - I had previously believed that if you took cash out of an ISA it could still attract CGT, but I am now persuaded it does not. Roll on April 6th....

thanks both - I do have some spread bets already Phantom - they have higher buy prices, but you are right, it is the way to go as you can also cash out of spread bets without tax.... with ISA there is only no tax if you don't touch it, which might be good for a couple of years, but then....?

over on ADVFN someone is saying Angle are tipped for an ISA by shares magazine. Anyone else get the feeling that on April 6th there is going to be an almighty rush? (the timing is near perfect).
I have some cash set aside for ISA, but may buy sooner and just pay the CGT - it may amount to the same percentage by waiting to ISA at a higher SP... thoughts anyone?

the share is in a sweet spot - huge expectation mounting regarding the FDA, but even if you don't have the nerve to wait on the final decision, it is for sure that the SP will rise once the questions are returned to the FDA in May, and it will rise as and when (soon) the clinic/s are announced, and it will rise when the pharma deals are released, and it will rise whilst the FDA check over the answers. If you are a low risk investor it is perfect - buy now and get out in June, leaving the big action for us LTHs!

that was from yesterday Tom - not much happening today in terms of volume so SP being lowered to keep things moving I feel. The great thing is, we just need to look away from the screen for a few weeks - then things will get tasty...
