that sounds wise kathy - you have to follow your own path with these things. I changed my strategy a year ago, from having lots of small investments, to a few major ones. I realised that the small ones were averaging out and if anything losing me money, so now I just work on 4 shares AGL IMM CPT and SCLP (you may detect a theme) and buy and sell on small movements to build large holdings for the future. Even though I'm 100% up on IMM I'm still losing money overall though! But I like the shares I'm in and their prospects, and am looking for a 5 -8 year gain - and early retirement :)

they have a good and popular product (non-invasive pregnancy test, so related to CPT in that way) but mega-pharma Illumina have issued a series of bogus legal actions against them for copyright infringement that is holding back sales, though they are doing ok, they are not the star rocket everyone predicted. I'm not invested there, but might be tempted once those actions have been thrown out by the courts (which they will be).

There is a delay, but somewhat beyond the control of the company, and only of 3 months; hardly a reason to get stroppy! Just consider: there is ALREADY a product, it is a world leader, with proven marketability, and they are already marketing to China, a KEY market, in which there ARE large orders already. what's not to like? a bit of patience maybe

agree about TW - & Reynolds is 'iffy' at best, though the case of NIPT is unfortunate. I hope CPT will prove different with Erik and the China team on a much higher level.

yes - problem is the 'market' will not reward news properly if funding remains uncertain - I'd prefer the placement now (ideally at or slightly higher than the current SP) so that the brakes are off when news comes - then we could easily see low teens this year and high teens by the spring. Maybe those of you in touch with Erik can get him on the case???

it's news typical of a start up in unfamiliar territory, with erratic supply etc, but the new order is a big deal, so I'm happy with the release.

you have to look at his track record: CPT down 60% since tip, FOX down 70% since tip, Stanley Gibbons down 90% since tip, NIPT down 80% since tip etc etc. He's hopeless.

I smell manipulation - opening the spread as soon as interest returns, in order to dampen the buys and let the SP slump again.... maybe MMs wanting a load of cheap shares for a large buy? Let's see if they try to tempt shareholders by raising the Bid next week....

agreed, & sounds like Erik would be in trouble if he's been sending you positive comments and then does a cheap cash call (my only fear, otherwise good news is a'coming...). It's not just news though, it's also how it is released!

on my grapevine: 3 directors were in line to purchase shares but have been disallowed. I suppose, oddly, that's good....

oh, and he wants you to pay for his tips now - ha ha... I'm not in BST - yet, but would like to be in a year's time or if it hits 13p.

yes TW is useless - I have been caught out on his NIPT pumping at 17p, and his 'family fund' is also very deep into FOX, CPT, and Stanley Gibbons all more than 50% off when he tipped them (SG off 95%). His short tips used to be OK but now carry little weight - he picks on the obvious dogs and pretends he's a genius.
