I've just called Barclays, they said that QBT is under review since the name change as "it looks like they've changed the way they trade" (not sure what that means). They said they can't give a timeframe on if/when it'll be sorted.
He reccomends to check on it every now and then...
Interest in Vela is certainly picking up as we edge closer to the end of our Covid trial, L2 looking strong
The 10m seller has been keeping the price down for the past few weeks but it feels like we're finally building enough pressure to move towards 0.1p again
Patience is key, well done to all those who have accumulated at 0.075p and below
In August 2020 we touched 0.2p on the news of JN becoming the director. Since then he has made masses of improvements to our investments and our money pot
If the SGS trial is as successful as many of us anticipate then I think 0.3p is easily achievable
Vela is on more people’s radars than today’s bulletin board might suggest, and it won’t take long for the herd to arrive once we’re one of LSE’s top risers and news spreads about our miracle oral Covid treatment drug
The nervous silence and mildly negative speculation is often seen on the AIM market when news is expected, usually followed by a a rush of excitement and euphoria when the desired RNS finally lands
It’s always darkest before the dawn, and I’ve been up all night waiting for these results ;)
Realistically, new can land any time now
We've got over £2m cash in the bank read to invest, two investments getting ready for IPO, and the expected initial results for a potentially world changing drug
Good luck all
Especially an orally administered drug which can be prescribed and dispensed "over the counter"
I'm pretty sure the "last patient out" date is this Friday too, being 28 days after the confirmation of the recruitment process
As per the RNS from March 30th, 24.5m warrants were issued at a value of £15k
As per the RNS from Feb 25th, 51.8m warrants were issued at a value of £31k
As per the RNS from Feb 18th, 25.9m warrants were issued at a value of £15.5k
In total, around 102k warrants (£60k worth) were released within the time frames stated above. Those who were here a few weeks back will have noticed the block sells of 10m going through every now and then. In m opinion it is very likely that these warrants have already been flushed out
If you're waiting in hope of buying below 0.075p, you'll likely be very disappointed
Realistically most of the waiting is now behind us. I'm expecting the tide to start turning over the next couple of weeks as we draw closer to the initial results for the SGS trial. Other news could land in the meantime such as an update on the Aeristech IPO or news of further investments
What shares at 0.06p are you referring to? As we haven't been below 0.07p in many months now
To be clear, technical analysis isn’t an exact science. It cannot be used on a lot of shares due to the price action being so erratic. As I say, it can be very useful in crypto, forex and some commodities as the price action is far more stable
With that being said, in Vela’s instance I am very pleased to see that the TA is showing distinct patterns which gives us a visual representation of when to expect the next rise in SP
In the graphs I’ve shown, can you see any kind of re-occurring pattern?
From what I can see, every time it intersected one of the 3 trend lines, we had an increase in SP to north of 0.1p. The next trend line is approaching and it coincidentally coincides with the time period we’re expecting the initial SGS results
