I see MTI Wireless (a recent Vela investment) is having a nice push today while the rest of the UK markets are down

Duc, a long corner indeed, a 3 month corner at that

But as we know, news is expected this month and the chart shows that we're nearly at a critical point where we have seen decent gains in the past

There's an old saying by Bernard Baruch which goes, "show me the chart and i'll tell you the news"

Currently the chart is showing me that news is around the corner and an SP rise is imminent

0.12-0.15p before news is a decent target

0.3p+ after news is what i'm looking for

I know most on here are more interested in the daily SP movement apposed to the chart, but in my opinion if you only monitor the SP then you're only seeing half of the picture

In the graph below, the purple and gold lines are the moving averages. When the purple line (200 EMA) is above the gold line, Vela is bullish

Currently the candles are bouncing between both lines, as support and resistance. As the next few weeks play out i'm expecting to see the candles bounce off the golden line (50 EMA) and break northward through the purple line (200 EMA) as we have seen Vela do a number of times in the past 10 months

I've just tried to purchase some in my AJ Bell SIPP with no success :(

My ISA is with Barclays and i've had no trouble purchasing, although i haven't tried any trades on Barclays today

Usually its your ISA supplies (Barclays, AJ Bell, HL, II, etc) apposed to being simply ISAs in general. In my experience, the only method is to keep trying

The chances of COVID 19 being "controlled completely" are practically nil, the same way Influenza (seasonal flu) has been around for 100 years and still kills around half a million people world wide annually

Unfortunately these viruses cannot be stopped as they are constantly mutating. My other half works in a hospital and still sees cases of viruses such as bird flu, corona virus (other strains), foot in mouth, swine flu, mumps, measles, rubella, shingles, etc

The purpose and use case of AZD1656 is to treat people who have diabetes or low immune systems, who cannot handle the vaccine. This oral treatment, if successful, will be here to stay and administered worldwide

0.15p would be a 100% rise, which is easily achievable on any stock, asset or commodity

Potentially 5 trading days until we hear some juicy news, and if not then it could land any day thereafter

This could very well be the last chance for a cheap entry :)

Just thought i'd give a little update on the charts
As you can see, we've broken out of the bullish downward channel and we're currently bouncing between the 50 & 200 day exponential moving averages. When this is seen in crypto & forex you can generally expect big moves to follow :)

More buys coming in at full ask, and a few more shares moving from trading accounts into ISAs

Could well be somebody transferring 10m from their trading account into an ISA

Decent buying pressure so far today, not many sells and for good reason. Looks like the SP is being held down a little but I suspect we’ll start seeing a tick up as we progress through the day :)

If we can sustain a gradual rise back up to 0.1p before the results, there will be some serious gains to be made

5-10% daily rise will be optimum, not too fast and not too slow
