Plateau has a similar geological makeup as Mt Wright, which was a highly lucrative gold mine a short distance away.
Mt Wright's main gold deposits were between 400m - 850m and so far Rockfire have only sampled down to 190m.

3D magnetic imagery has confirmed a gold target at around 600m below Plateau and the remaining 4x drill results will be intersecting these deposits. These results are expected as early as next week!

'Copperhead" and "Copper Dome" are yet to be surveyed this year. Historical surveys of this area indicate a huge copper deposit just blow surface, and some gold too.

Spurs, yes the SP is slipping and has been slowly doing so for some time... but that can all change in an instant as most of us here know. I wont be selling up any time soon

I've heard a lot of hype about Vela and have been watching the SP drop for the past two days, so seen it as a good opportunity to hop in with some punt money.

Is anybody able to brief me on general info please? I'll do some thorough research on the weekend before figuring out how much more to invest.

A drop on good news is actually quite common on AIM shares and is nothing to fear; in fact, i generally see it as a good opportunity to top up.

There are many factors which can make the SP drop, whether its local news, price of precious metals, state of the economy, etc. In a scenario like this, I think its likely that the market makers have dropped the share price in order to influence people into selling, which is a crafty but common move which they tend to get away with.

By the looks of L2, an average buy should see us tick back up to 1.25p.

Considering we've seen 3 lots of warrants converted in the past week, totaling to 157.4m, the SP has held up remarkably.
This to me shows that there's lots of interest in Alba, and the upcoming drill results which should make 0.5p a thing of the past.

Out of curiosity, does anybody know how many more warrants the company have outstanding? If i find the time later i'll go through previous RNS'.
