Thought the share would be down - but this? Wow. The market really does make you sick at times.

Straight through £2 - didn’t anticipate that. Wtf is going on?

It’s the UK sector which has obviously spooked the market. Maybe the company has been a bit too honest for its own good in highlighting the headwinds facing it at the end of the RNS. Records profits, no debt, plenty of cash in bank, increased dividend and down we go. Hate to think where we would be if the RNS had been bad? Lol.

And, after a promising opening, looks like it's done more or less zilch to the price. What is going on with this share?

I've bought a few more hoping we have bottomed and will move up heading into results @ the end of the month

It would be nice if these companies could put out an RNS in English that we can all undertand. I've been in business all my working life & I've never used words such as organic, acquisitive, verticals (!!!!!!!!!!) It's about time the FCA did something useful, got to grips with this opaque language and said to companies, if a person on the street cannot undertand the RNS you are issuing - don't release it.

I’m invested here as the automated system I use picked 888 out. I also use 888 to place horse racing bets as it is one of the few bookmaking accounts I have left that will let me bet with them and give me BOG (best odds guaranteed) but I’m not particularly impressed with their website, plus I had the hassle of providing id to get my winnings out, which, like all of them, they claim is to prevent money laundering when in reality they hope you can’t be bothered providing passport details etc & hope you’ll just lose your winnings back to them.

You are talking absolute nonsense. Not long ago you'd washed your hands with the company and didn't want anything more to do with it. Now you're championing it like the second coming. Someone will trawl back through your posts and catch you out - like they did before.

The infamous rns of July 4th - that seems to have been forgotten about. A complete and utter red herring, that cost people a lot of money and nothing was done about.
