...... but it seems to be playing out exactly the way I said it would. Resistance at �2.75-�2.80 and so the cycle repeats and back down we go again. It's so frustrating.

So why has it just dropped then, if nobody is selling. I'm tempted to add some more but I think we have a pattern repeating here and we will go lower again :-(

Are finding resistance again around 275-80 and repeating the cycle all over again back down to 220-230? What will be the catalyst to take us to the next trading range?

Gold doesn't seem to respond to geo-politcal events anymore. There is easier money to be had elsewhere - for the time being - this is what is affecting gold. People don't want it. It will have its day, but not for a while yet.

Ladbrokes and William Hill are among five online firms being investigated by the CMA - Competition and Markets Authority - relating to unfair sign up promotions and making it difficult to withdraw your money. I myself have had experience of this, casino bonuses where you have to wager "X" amount of times your initial deposit in order to withdraw the bonus and also having to provide a copy of my passport, a utility bill and a copy of my debit card used, before any winnings were paid out. They hide behind money laundering as being the reason, but really they're hoping you cannot be bothered and will just lose the money back. It wouldn't surprise me if this escalated into the next PPI style scandal. I recently tried to place a bet on the horses online with Coral - nothing happened. I opened online chat and was informed a decision was made by the trading team that I could no longer bet on any Sports events but i was free to carry on using other parts of the site like the casino. Why didn't someone have the courtesy to e-mail about the decision made? Online bookmaking really is the most dishonourable profession out there.

But the company's website is the go-to place for second-hand car dealerships and private owners alike who pay not far off £50 a pop but are lured by visitor numbers to the site that are around four times those of its nearest competitor.

Does someone know something we don't?

..... off everyone's radar at the moment, but if ever a company had a moat around it. Hard to see where the serious competition is?

I wonder if they'll ever offer an IPO? Them and BV miles ahead of the competition as far as I'm concerned without the FOBT saga casting a cloud. LCL happy to restrict winning customers on horse racing etc to peanuts but crying like babies over the thought of stakes being reduced from £100 to £2 on the machines! Want to have their cake & eat it spring to mind.

Just sold mine, previous posts plus lack of info on whether they are isable and me not understanding the warrants, plus ASX listing made my mind up. Made a couple of grand in a short space of time so happy. Will look to put the funds back into Cey and Hoc come May, when hopefully the miners have corrected a bit. Good luck all.

I'm not sure about it all either. If anyone can shed some light, would be most grateful. I havent got a massive amount, 50,000 @ 10.5p, in an isa, I don't need to realise the capital at the moment and was thinking they had the potential to be a nice little nest egg.

Be interesting to see what happens. I currently have no restrictions on my account with Coral although my bets often get referred to traders and occasionally I get knocked back. With Ladbrokes I can get a maximum of £3 on the horses, although I'm guessing no restrictions apply if I want to play casinos or slots. A maximum of £3 on a bet and yet I bet this merger we are talking in millions? Laughable.

.... with them, rather being restricted to peanuts. Joke company.
