I would be very happy at £3.50 but realistically £3.40 on the day but as we all know results have got to be absolutely outstanding as there has been so much hype and anticipation over the last few months, I hope it doesn't come back and bite us all. Perhaps a pre result comment from the big man himself may help.

I took profit yesterday but bought back in not sure if that was the right thing to do but in again now

Dow having a rough session, hopefully won't cause a further drop here tomorrow.

Has been so much hype for the 22nd results have to be absolutely outstanding to lift the SP much above £3.20

So where are we going tomorrow?

Would we expect further drops when American markets open?

Are we expecting a pre results announcement from Tufan ? is there still that 'big news' to be announced.

Disappointing that RR may not win the contact to power the Thai 787s but as at the end of Jan 24 Airbus orders for the A350 (900/1000) stood at 1237 of which 585 have been delivered that's a lot of Trent engines in production.

SP reacted adversely last time a SMR was awarded to another company, RR are doing so well in the aviation sector and that's money in bank now not 10 years away.

2 weeks today we will all be in a much happier place (hopefully) :)

The 350-1000 is a far superior aircraft to the revised 777 that is still awaiting certification

Boeings reputation is in serious trouble.

The Ducati Panigale is getting closer £3.75/£4.00 would do very nicely.

I was able to repay my mortgage in full about 7 years ago after selling an investment property although my mortgage was relatively low it was stilla chunk of monthly salary being mortgage free has enabled me to have 4 holidays a year (most in the UK) and to build a small share portfolio including RR it's a great feeling being mortgage free and something I do not not regret .

Let's just hope we are not disappointed, with so much speculation and hype the numbers need to be outstanding.

Airbus do have huge order book and outselling Boeing 2 to 1 at the moment, but vast majority of orders are for narrow bodies that unfortunately do not benefit RR at the moment.

Emirates have confirmed that they intend to operate the 380s until the late 2030s (hopefully) and with the major problems at Boeing with certification of the updated 777, that is good news for Airbus with the 350s. The continuing saga of the 737MAX will again benefit Airbus who are currently outselling Boeing by 2 to 1 on narrow body unfortunately it will be many years before RR get back into the narrow body market but when it does can you imagine the potential market ?

Boeing situation going from bad to worse, confidence in Boeing at a low surely some of the big American carriers will soon have to consider possible fleet changes from Boeing to Airbus, could mean more orders for the A350.

I for one wouldn't take a flight on 737 Max (sorry Ryanair) but would choose a Airbus operator .
