.....The proceeds from the Land/Naval/Hybrid divestures.....say £4-5Billion....could by used to buy Beechcraft Hawker....and invest in Finmaccania...Bombadier....or Rockwell Collins projects....Beechcraft Hawker....make turboprop trainers for US airforce/civilian/business jets...are currently in adminstration....and could be bought cheeply...£750m....allowing BAe to gain civil product and marketing channels at a stroke....ready to do deals with with Canadian Bombadier, Italian Finaccania or Swiss rivals.....BAe core compitences are in combat aircraft, airframe design, avionics, missiles, radar, systems integration, stelth and cyber warfare....therefore if this business wishes to grow from a deminishing defence market....it must find civil applications for its technology....or buy into an existing business with civilian maketing channels for BAe to exploit....Reg

.....JCB....would be the perfect partner for Land Systems....opening up civilian oppertunities/applications and international marketing distribution and clout....JCB might make greater use of Land Systems UK factories such as the famous Newcastle Scotswood tank factory....possibly to produce bulldozers....Rolls Royce....would be a better home for Naval and Hybrid systems.....possibly a precuser to Rolls....floating its Naval Systems division....under the reserected Vickers name.....Reg

.....RIIG are in a market.....where good claims talent....is now mature....hence this mornings announcement RIIG are to set up college to train new 18-19 years of age claims people for the future....backed by 100% government grants....Harold like you say....RIIG will have first call on the best talent to come from this college....RIIG business...is also attractive to preditor....due to the talent there in....and barrier of entry to its market....Trading update....continued improvement in trading for period to end December 2011....excellent....GLA Reg

.....this company was approached last year....when much smaller and making losses...@ 2p I believe....Since then we have doubled turnover...eliminated debt....and trade pofitably....With RIIG sp at current level....Capita...or Compass....et all will surely be running their slide rules over us....Maybe JF and new advisor....are already sounding out buyers of the business.....Cheers Reg

.....what is the difference between HI and H2 trading?.....First half....company were in transition...funding net debt.....moving tomuch larger new premises....hiring additional staff....H2....these costs have been largely eliminated....therefore...with a further 50% increase in second half turnover to £2m....profitability should be in the region of £200k minimum....£500k maximum...Reg

......wrong!.....HI....revenues £1.373m (£925k 2010)....48% increase....First half profitability was effected by company moving to much larger premises and hiring/training of additional staff....£2 million H2 turnover....should give company a margin 10-25%.....£200-500k profit...At .£4-5m annual turnover possibly £1m profit....GL Reg

.....FY results due any day....should reveal H2 revenues hitting £2m....profits £500k....with Mkt cap currently £1.6m...and 20% free float....this could easily go to 2p....higher still on new business wins....RIIG have been approached in the past with 2p offer....Strong Buy! Reg
