The problem was the nature of the speculation.

I think the RNS was wise and gave the company a chance to reiterate some salient points, as well as to sound a note of caution and try to bring a dose of reality to shareholders.

It would appear that there are no contracts signed... but that there is at least a plan in progress to launch the product properly. I would expect contracts/orders to come after that launch... and when the company has had a chance to build up some level of stock as a buffer.

The Company notes the recent social media speculation relating to the Pharm 2 Farm Ltd ("P2F") mask apparently being available for sale on European web sites with pictures of the branding now being circulated. As previously announced, the Company confirms that it is in discussions with a number of potential customers. As would be expected, this has included the provision of samples however, no bulk deliveries of the mask have been made and contracts have not yet been signed. In the meantime, careful preparations are being made for a formal launch of the product and its branding.



The P2F team is currenly working hard to bring the mask to market and it is disappointing when those efforts are adversely impacted by the premature and unauthorised dissemination of information. As the Company has said, it will update the market as necessary with details of new developments in accordance with its regulatory obligations as an AIM traded company.

Says who? I'd rather less PR 'spin' (a la Avacata) and just stick with factual RNS as and when required. The odd humorous tweet is nice but the suggestion that we need a constant flow of 'news' (which would end up being anything but news) is bo110ck5!

This is an important point. The RNS says that results are expected by the end of February - it does not guarantee that they will be nor does it promise a report/statement on the results by the end of February. It was an aspiration rather than a promise.

I think we need to be careful not to build up too much expectation as, if the results are delayed or it takes a while for the report to be finalised, we'll have the idiot derampers playing silly sods.

I'd be happy for an announcement in the next couple of weeks...

It could be longer than that. It wasn't a hard deadline.

I'll be 54 in September but was vaccinated as counted as 'key NHS staff' and other half works with Covid +ve patients.

Any side effects?

Talking to one of my friends (she works for one of the vaccine manufacturers) this morning, when out with the dog, the evidence seems to suggest that a reaction is more likely in both the Pfizer and AZ vaccine if you already have antibodies as a result of prior infection. It doesn't do you any harm but can be a helpful indicator.

But ODX wouldn't make order announcements around the AbC19 test as they don't handle the orders/sales. They just manufacture. So I'm not quite sure what you're expecting them to announce in that respect...

As and when they get an order from HMG for whatever antigen test is to be produced then I'd expect an RNS but we all know that's something for the future, as it's a process in transition.

I just find the retailer's message a little odd. If the NHS were going to source the AbC19 test en masse, they would be going to the manufacturer/main distributor direct - they wouldn't be going to a GP supply company.

As I said, the simple fact is, contrary to expectations of some (and the incorrect assertions of some of the usual suspects) ODX is not required to RNS every order - you've just proved my point.
