They clearly have a test in development and are looking to exploit it. Given the testing time, they will get a partnership and they'll get support from HMG, PHE etc. I would expect to see this being rolled out in H2 2021.

This test won't be a direct competition for ODX because it will be aimed at a different testing market.

Do you think that ministers won't already be aware of this? Briefings on these sorts of developments will be regular items in their red boxes.

It's actually 20 days (it's only 30 days if it was a competitive tender with a standstill period). If the contract was awarded on 11 February (I believe it may have actually been 9 February) then the notice is due by tomorrow.

That said, despite the GLP court case, the DHSC is still publishing Contract Award Notice late and incomplete. I wouldn't read anything into a CAN not be published this week.

Sounds like someone didn't do their research...

I did suggest that this sort of testing would be a possibility. Littleport/Ely are within easy reach of three international airports (Stansted, Luton and Norwich). ODX could also offer service for several large international ports as well.

At present, the UK is allowing manufacturers to continue to CE mark their devices - but the marking is only valid in Great Britain. It is not valid in Europe.

If UK manufacturers want the CE mark to be valid in Europe they have to register the product with a competent authority in an EU member state. This is not as straightforward as it was pre-Brexit.

You will need to look at the actual test itself. Currently tests are being repackaged.

If you read the RNS the reference to ultracentrifugal is in relation to an additional comparator test - not our test.

I'm not sure you understand what BRH is... it's highly unlikely BRH would be 'acquired'. If anything, it would sell Paraytec.
