I don't think we can necessarily to the maths like that, as we don't have all the pieces as not all the relevant information has been published. We know they've got a contract for £503m and an order for 20 million tests - but we don't know if anything else is covered off in the £503m contract.
My view is that the government will select one or more 'sovereign tests' that will be manufactured by ODX and others. These will not be at the same price that they have been paying (effectively at retail) to date. It'll be less.
That said, ODX is going to be laughing as, with TT, it can basically produce anybody's LFT ... and the volumes required will still makes this a very profitable exercise, even if the IP holders have to agree a lower than market price with DHSC.
And then you can add on the third party sales under your own branding...
