Seems most who are feeling a little unsure, truely don’t understand the whole fundamentals of this share. Hav is growing and will ,till they have finished the other three areas and we are still finding more at depth .Doesnt matter about scalley. We still have the amazing black hills etc.

Yes, if one opens a HL fund isa one can move shares from that to a share isa but one cannot move shares from let’s say ii share account to HL isa. One has to trade out and anything over 12300 creates a ctg payment.

One cannot transfer from a standard trading account to a isa . I have tried and spoken with ii and HL and accountants.one can Trade shares out to the yearly amount of £ 12300 without hitting any tax brackets.

Best to just take ones 10% allowance if you need dish, but best vid to just take your tax free amount of £12,500.

You can transfer the share titles to your spouse too .so you could then take £44k @ 10% a year between you both. If time is not on your side. ATB Red

How long would it take to transfer £40k , that would be £20k from my ii account to my Hl account and the other £20k to my wife’s H/l account? This is to save paying CTG on my gains. I’m worried that the migration time may loose me growth. Cheers red
