Hope other posters donāt mind me mentioning that my other main Aim investment is in 88E and after 7 years of waiting they have just announced their first commercial oil and gas flow - SP was up 45% yesterday but retraced a bit today and still less than a hapenny!! Just waiting for all the flow testing to finish and further announcements to come out as to how big a play they have landed. My diversification between Gold/Copper and Oil/Gas may give me a double celebration in around the same timescales!! My heart is of course with Greatland though!! šš
I agree with you Gman and a couple of other posters on here today who can see the wood from the trees. There is identical happening on the EEENF poster board as here - all the trolls coming out to play as they cannot stand the thought that 88E have proved them all wrong by at last hitting a commercial play. We went up further than the Yanks or Ozzies did yesterday because we had more to catch up as well. This is now settling until the next RNS but imho this is now on a build momentum as more and more news shows how big a play 88E have hit upon and who knows it might even be bigger than PANRās - NO ONE KNOWS yet so ignore all the trolls who want you to think they do - THEY DONāT so I wish us all the luck in the world for being so patient with 88E.
Hi James - best not trying to interact with the likes of Aim999 - I binned him and loads like him ages ago. They just use up valuable oxygen and time. Ignoring them hopefully makes them search for responses elsewhere. Cheers buddy.
I agree Mystic - personally I am happy with a 45% raise against an RNS that only said 70bopd - I thought it might have been much worse. Anyone expecting this to skyrocket in a day, clearly do not understand what we have here. This has been a long time coming (and at times I wondered whether we would ever get a commercial flow), but now this is all about firming up the numbers over a period of time in order to get the right mining giant to buy it off us, whilst we attend to more exploration finds in Texas/Namibia/Alaska. We are an explorer not a miner and now at least an all year round one. Hickory gives us a platform to launch from that should see decent shareholder returns over the next months/years - AIMHO!!
Absolutely - mainly because 70 bopd has come from just 20ft perforated so if the remaining 480ft when perforated flowed at the same rate then the bopd would go up to 1750 bopd. Then because this is a vertical measurement if they drop in horizontals then a multiple of between 6-12 times can occur. Plus we have the natural gas flows to measure on top PLUS the flow test from the SMBD 2 that they are off testing now. I guess that is why I mentioned last night that the 70 bopd is just our STARTING POINT - there is much more news to come in the next few months. Congrats to all true 88ers - we deserve this time in the sun!!
Troughsnout - another PANR warrior coming over here onto 88E to try to do us down. How you can assess our gas when our own CEO and Team have yet to do so is beyond me. Here is what the RNS says, to remind you: -
āAdditionally, some NGLs were produced but not measured, as was anticipated in the planning phase. The presence of NGLs was demonstrated by samples from the flare line and by visible black smoke in the flare. Historically, NGL prices on the North Slope of Alaska have been similar or slightly below light oil prices and are therefore considered highly valuable. Further work is required to quantify the exact volume of NGLs, which 88 Energy intends to include as part of a maiden certified Contingent Resource assessment at Project Phoenix for the SFS reservoirs.ā
Just go and get your snout back in PANR will you and leave us 88ers to enjoy what we have earnt!!!
Hi Phron - thanks for your valued thoughts and yes the stress has been horrific - Iāve been in since 2016 so feel Iāve served my apprenticeship. All true 88ers now deserve rich rewards for all the disappointments, dilution and barrage of abuse we have suffered over the years!! Onwards and upwards now I hope. VGLA.
Remember we now move on to the second flow test at the proven SMBD2 Level as still part of the Hickory 1 Well tests - when we add them together and also assess the level of gas flow, then we will have a clearer picture of how successful we have been. Tonightās RNS is just the STARTING POINT - no longer any concerns of a duster and we HAVE a commercial flow that will only get bigger. Congrats to all true long suffering 88ers - the rest of 2024 will now be very interesting imho!!
