The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Hi PaulT - the SP on 10th Jan 24 when Actusray took out their short was actually 8.39p and it is currently in excess of that price as I type. I’m not exactly sure what price was taken when their short occurred but you would think that they have a touch of the betty swollocks at the moment!!! VGLA true Greatlanders.
OK RSI - it’s not right that SAS has been asked to curtail the spat between you both, only for you to carry on regardless. Can I suggest that you also play your part in bringing this prolonged baiting to an end. There are far more interesting things relating to GGP that I’m sure you could attend to??
Lovely way to end the week - Gold up over 2,413 / Copper up over 5.03 /GGP up 16.28% today and at 7.50p the highest SP since 8th Feb. Fingers crossed that we are on our way to much much bigger things ahead and in the not too distant future. VGLA true Greatlanders - you deserve it!!
Hi Chris, Miner & Handspring - all spot on about our resident squatter Scot and his little band - they are so paranoid about 88E and trying to persuade people to switch to PANR that they just drone on and on hoping someone will believe their totally biased spew!! Can’t wait for the LSE to bring a rule in that says you can only comment on a share you are invested in with at least £1000. 🤞🤞
That’s the point Galicia - taking out a loan is in itself not dilutive (whereas capital raises using shares always are). If however the loan interest and capital cannot be repaid by Company revenues ( as it appears may be the case with PANR) then the assumption is that capital raising will have to take place to repay the loans and hence dilution of shares as a result.
Sorry Galicia you are wrong there - taking out a Company Loan does not dilute shareholdings as long as the Company can make the interest payments and repay the loan presumably from future revenues. As long as they do not need to capital raise to service the loan, then no shareholdings are diluted - I wouldn’t want you misleading anyone (or yourself come to that)!!
The biggest proportion of votes against the resolution was 24.48% on the performance awards, but obviously not enough to give the Board a wake up call. As previous posters have alluded, we are now in the lap of the Gods as to when/if 88E springboards forwards. VGLA. We do at least have more strings in our bow now making it all year round for catalysts to appear, but I do agree that our CEO needs to up his game in making valuable communications to long suffering PI’s!!!
We’re united in that Rotherby and you’re right it is one helluva team at GGP with true strength in depth - did anyone notice (worry) that our CFO departed? Fingers crossed the rewards for all Lthers and newbies comes to pass soon.
Have a great weekend!!
Agreed Rotherby - there are some real egos assembled at GGP and not one of them would like to be associated with failure and would have enough experience to know whether they were joining a dog, or something on the cusp of real success. I am more comfortable because of the BoD in place.
Apologies if posted before but good to see that our hardworking CEO is still out there pressing the flesh: -
“#GreatlandGold was invited to participate in Canaccord Genuity’s 3rd Annual Global Metals and Mining Conference this week. The opportunity to participate and engage with fund managers at the conference is appreciated“
Don’t patronise me Tymers - I’ve been on Boards of Directors and if you’re trying to tell me that any CEO worth his salt isn’t at all involved in the hiring and firing of his BoD then Shaun would be a first. I don’t doubt that Shaun involved Twiggy’s influence in constructing a first class BoD but you’re implying Shaun had nothing to do with it, which is not my impression of Shaun at all. Anyway, well done - I had always tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but your last post shows me how self opinionated you really are - I can truly SEE you for who you are now, so straight in the greenbin you go and I regret not doing it months ago when you upset others on this Board.
I agree Bamps - I could not explain in any other way why Shaun would create such an aggressive, expert BoD around him if it wasn’t because he knew he was going to need all their talent, experience and guile and for their part, why join a minnow unless they could see there was a real opportunity for them? All good imho!!
