... over in Sweden, our friends have noted that the placement offering mentions SEE expects 'at least 25% of the DMS market' and say this is a reduction from previous aims, with one poster stating it was previously 75% (he must read Safestocks). Well, our Ken, being the shrinking violet he is, would never be so bold as to say SEE will ever win more than 25-30% of the market but this been taken in by our friends and now one believes SEYE will win 40% of the European market (in line with Martin's target).
Disregarding NCAP and legislation, this would mean including JLR, SEYE would have to win VAG or all of Renault, PSA and the F in FCA. Considering what's happened at Audi (VAG), what's happened at the C in FCA and also what Viktor said about PSA (the link to Aptiv) how likely is it?
As it stands at present, using SmartEye metrics, SEE has 23.8% of the market and SEYE about the same but has lost BMW and VAG is up for grabs. So, as for confirmed customers going forward SEYE has less than 10% (JLR, Hyundai, Geely).
