ET The barriers to entry are low into convenience DMS , unlike safety DMS where it is high. Hence, there will be competition which will drive down prices in that sector (look at the low value of the Hyundai DMS). Jungo apparently announced wins a few months ago in China and Japan although announcing them and actually getting them is another matter. Eyesight has announced wins also in China. There does appear interest for SEYEs product in that area so SEYE should be fine but one should always be aware of possible competition as I'm sure you will know having researched thoroughly?

ET Apparently SEYE had a good relationship with FCA and a Swedish Tier 1. So what happened there? Maybe the SEYE kit don't work as well as required by FCA and BMW and Audi...... And all the time, the gap grows!

ET/staystrongbro /@hozo94 We're aware of all that but you conveniently forget (there's that word again) SEYEs problems ie it does not work above 40mph and you're chip-lite, there's no accident recorder connection, it's not available anywhere near enough to be classed as a safety DMS. Other than China and the like, post NCAP and legislation where is SEYE going to sell? Short term SEYE yes, medium to long term no. Enjoy your moment in the sun.

It's all about chips, 10p is I believe what some would accept although I'm sure Mr BB would hope for a lot more. 20p is also very conservative. I'm waiting to see how many of the 13 RFQ's SEE win (a lot I would hope) and then determine what purely from Auto (but everything is heading towards the same conclusion) SEE is worth. Then it could be 20p or something completely different. It's all about chips, ask Xilinx or some of their ex-employees.
