I’ve been guilty of desperately looking for the “next big thing”, which has often ended in disaster. I’ve had a really lucky run lately though, and thought I’d do the same here. Because of this amazing discovery and the prospect of a production increase, renegotiation of the licence, the drilling of the massive deeper section and the potential for EACH WELL to produce 5000 bpd, I’ve decided to stay here until I start getting a dividend. No brainer!

Honest John thinks that the institutions involved in the placing at 10p have been dumping their shares over the last few days, at 10p! I don’t think that’s how they operate.

How on earth do you not understand that the 700k is a buy? Look at the time, then check the prices around it. It’s not difficult. Maybe you are happy to muddy the waters though, wouldn’t be the first person to do so.

There looks to be too much uncertainty in yesterday’s RNS, which has given the upper hand to those with a negative view, coupled with the continued clearing of the placing shares. Hopefully these issues will be addressed tomorrow, along with a more detailed timetable for production, funding and licensing. It’s hard to believe that this is stuck around the placing price, but can you imagine what would have happened had this not been a massive success?

Of course he should be getting on with the job, rather than wasting time answering PI’s questions. But, he’s made a rod for his own back by replying to anyone, which he shouldn’t have done in the first place. That’s what your investor relations department should be doing.......

I hope we get an RNS at the close of play on Friday, as long as the news is good! Imagine the panic and wasted weekend for the doomsday brigade.

When this was at the very bottom, in the 40’s & less than two weeks ago, people were queuing up to say that Yu. were going bust, going to get a massive fine, were going to need to raise funds and loads of other nonsense. A couple of good days of gains and they’ve disappeared. You can’t possibly continue the rises of the last few sessions, it’s healthy for it to take a break. Hopefully back to blue next week and push through £1.

Offered 79 to sell and it’s 81.7 to buy, so at least the gap has closed on the actual spread.

It looks like some of the delayed buys are actually sells. This is why it’s so difficult to know what’s happening, when the MM’s are free to muddy the waters. The spread of over 10% is also ridiculous, and again doesn’t help the humble PI. The market is hard enough to negotiate without these added hindrances. Finishing flat or slightly down today won’t be the end of the world and hopefully the sells can kick us off to the next leg up.

It seems to following a similar pattern to the last few sessions. Almost impossible to believe that there is enough stock to go around, given the volume of buying recently. I’d far rather a steady rise and a tight spread to encourage both buyers and sellers. If this can break the psychological £1 barrier, then who know where it could end up. Still a lot of risk here, but with real customers and real income, a far better bet than some of the absolute rubbish on AIM.

Just so that people know, a 40% plus, steady rise throughout the day, is most definitely not a dead cat bounce. You can smell the fear today.

I think all talk of an open of 15p plus are fantasy, but hopefully this will be the start of a rise towards a more realistic share price over the coming days and weeks. I hope if they are successful, the new company will be called Be Virgin.

I’m not sure who you can be referring to office, our resident “strong sell” merchant is a current holder. The fact that he has an air of superiority about him is obviously a front, he made the same mistake as the rest of us.

There it is, a six million sell, just before the close. All in all, not too bad a day. I was surprised to see a blue finish after the 20% dilution RNS. Maybe people believe there will be a positive outcome. I certainly hope so, and preferably soon!

Late trade of 11.25 million went through at 0.3173. Chunky, and maybe why this ended flattish today?

It might still go belly up, and I’m positive the doom mongers will be along with questions over the funding requirements, and CHAL’s stake being diluted to nothing, but for now at least all holders can breathe a sigh of relief!
