LOB, What is there to say.... We have had no news from the company, either good or bad, so everything is as it was..... In limbo...

.. We are waiting for PC to sign up to the JV before we can present our proposal to the GOB... But the country is in dissaray and everything is on hold.
.. If you watched the news last night you would have seen how the Delta varient of Covid is taking a strangle hold on the country, with everything going in and out of lock downs, and paralysing everything.

I see that Israel, (who have had a really good jabs programme) have now said that people over 65 who had the both jabs, months ago, may be losing their protection already, and they have started giving them a Third jab.-This virus is not going away-----------maybe we should be holding on to our "spare" jabs, instead of giving them away---looks like we may need them ourselves.

Flowkey---i was (and still am ) one of "those posters" you refer to.-----I have always tried to give an honest opinion , as i saw it at the time, and I had always done a great deal of research on GCM before I posted anything.---In the past I have commented all sorts of angles , from the Deposit, to Life of Mine, Values, JV's , Director holdings ect ect, and always with the intention of relaying my research and thoughts to others on this BB.---Yes I also posted my own conclusions (whether they were bullish or bearish ), but anyone reading my posts were entitled to disagree or not.-----------My posts were never intended to mislead anyone, --- they were just my opinions.----backed up by thoughts on the situation as it was at the time, and i'm sure that was the case with the other posted you have mentioned.

Everything seems to be moving in the right direction for SLE.... Seems that so much could be happening in the background, can't wait to hear the details of our HOT with Midwest, but there could be so much more than just the 100% of mlpl, and the resulting RTO.... More Eli, and maybe more Oza... That's just what could be the table at present. .. But the bigger picture is wide open... Maybe (as Al. Hinted at) Sahara, and Nnpc stake could come our way in the longer term.

I expressed exactly those thoughts about Sahara and Nnpc to a friend a couple of days ago.... Like you I think that a lot more could be on the table than appears at first glance.... Even if it may take a few years to fully unwind.

It just keeps going-----------------------It's up 165% since Sept, and now stands at $134----it's ten year all time high.

Easy to get distracted. Over the years so many plants had been proposed and approved, that you got the impression Bang had lots of producing ,coal powered plants----not so.

The government may scrap one or two other power plant projects if the construction does not make desired progress, said an official of the ministry.
One unit of the 1,320MW power plant in Payra is generating electricity. It is a Bangladesh-China joint venture. Physical work is making progress for the 1,320MW plant in Rampal, 1,224MW in Chattogram, 307MW in Barguna, and 1,200MW in Matarbari and 1,200MW in Cox's Bazar.

Payra has been contributing 600MW to the national grid every day for the last few months, the state minister said.

Before Payra, an 525MW plant in Barapukuria, Dinajpur, was the country's only coal-fired plant. The Matarbari plant is set to start producing electricity in 2023.

The prime minister has approved a proposal to scrap 10 coal-fired power plants that were okayed earlier.

The power and energy ministry proposed scrapping the projects as the construction work made no progress in years, State Minister Nasrul Hamid told The Daily Star.

San Leon and Midwestern are in discussions for the Company to acquire the remaining 60% equity interest in MLPL from Midwestern. The consideration for this, and other matters, would be satisfied by the issuance of a substantial number of new ordinary shares in San Leon to Midwestern, such that Midwestern would become the majority shareholder of San Leon.

When it's all up and running, this could earn SLE about $27 mill a year.----A great deal.

Through put up to 100/- barrels a day--------15% of that is good news.
