The decommissioning agreement provided that the minister was conferred with the authority to enforce the lessees’ PSE and Island respective obligations to share in decommissioning costs. Commercial production at the Seven Heads field ceased in July 2020,.
-
-The field ceased production in 2020 , but SLE had sold ALL of its interest's (and liabilities) to Ardilaun in 2019---- In 2020 when commercial production ceased SLE were no longer one of the lessees, that responsibility had passed to Ardilaun in 2019.
----Do you really think, that if the field had continued production for another 100 years, that SLE would still be liable for the decommissioning costs ??
-As Alaric said yesterday---this is just an attempt by Ardilaun to pass the buck, now they have seen us win the lottery.
-All a lot of nonsense over some small beer.
Yes Papp, all those plants sitting idle and Incurring those astronomical capacity charges, all boiling down to the same problem... Whether they are gas or coal, they just haven't got any fuel to run them, and where they have got the fuel the end price electricity if just uneconomic... And all of it caused by the Bangla policy of Importing... So many bad decisions have been taken over the last twenty years, that they have built themselves a complete minefield, which is now coming home to roost.
...To have ignored the golden goose at Phulbari and committed to spending their entire fx reserves on imported coal and gas, has been a total desaster... And yet still they try to convince everyone, that all is well...... Without hand outs from the IMF they would really be up against a wall, and maybe this needs to happen before things can improve.
. A new Gov needs to bite the bullet and undo many of these old contracts that are strangling the economy.... But where to start.
That's 2 out of 3, if we get the third one then we must be due an RNS..
Last one here Whimax as arguing with you, does nothing for other posters.
-
---"The reason the SP is where it is, is because it has drifted on lack of news, some have got bored and left, while others are waiting on the sidelines to find out if the BoD will actually deliver on what they have told us they will."
-
-That is exactly what I told you would happen in my post of 16th june 22---"Time will drag us down"----(go and read it again)----and you accused me then of trying to talk the SP down for my own purpose---and ended with your "good luck on that one" comment.
-
- -I said then that the SP would drift back to the mid teens, and nothing has changed since then.
-Without great or unexpected news, we will have to wait for production and revenue before we see a sustainable rise.
Whimax----this is the second time you have attacked one of my posts for not seeing things as you do.------"absolutely absurd.---Mischief making at best. Ludicrous!!"
--
----You have posted so often on this share over the past two years, that you have lost sight of the woods for the trees, and have become deaf to any other opinion.
--Let me ask you this.
----If the co said NO FARM IN---where would the SP go----straight down is the answer to that.
----So the SP NEEDS this Farm in just to hold where it is------and that is why i'm saying that it is "all in the price"
-
-An average Farm in is already priced in, and will just produce a short lived spike in the SP, while we wait for production and revenue.
-
- We need great, or unexpected news otherwise we stay as we are--- and wait .
---and just like the past 18 months Time has, and will, drag us down.
"we are supposedly close to a major farm in announcement"......
... And that's the problem here... We all know its coming, and much the same as the resources RNS earlier in the year, unless it's something really spectacular, then its now all in the price.
.. Yes we'll get a spike in the sp, but in reality nothing will have changed, and the spike could get sold into and the sp will run out of puff and drift back down again.
. So unless we get some "unexpected news", then it's back to square one, and we wait for production to generate revenue and change the picture....
.. Its still all about time, and on a bad day we could have some better opportunities to buy.
. As things stand the sp will drift.
So was I Goon, got far too much of this carp, including the ones I bought at near £3.
In early June this year the sp was enjoying a nice lttle bull run, and managed to climb from around 3p up to about 4.75p..a 50% increase.
... No sooner had the sp started to gain some traction, than the Co issued an RNS on (on the 9th June), saying that it knew of no reason for the rise, and promptly halted the rise in its tracks.
.. Now here we are, rapidly approaching the 1p mark, with the sp sliding in a straight line by 70% and not a single word from the Co.
.. To the uneducated it would appear that the Co were unhappy to see the sp rise, but are more than happy to see it tank.
.. With a fund raise already signalled, you have to ask how a lower sp benefits the cause, unless of course it is to get a larger amount of shares issued to unnamed ii, s.
Why will you be giving a premium Goon... You heard something.. Lol
Looks like we will be taking that last 300/_ from polo, and then hoping for a change in direction after the Bangla elections.
Now where are.
... Let's be realistic and assume that our offshore discovery will not provide any revenue untill about 2026.
...True we may farm out and get some portion of our expenditure to date, back as part of any deal, and this could help the future funding of our remaining share of the offshore gas.... This cash will not provide funds that will be coming back to shareholders, we will have to wait for full blown production before we get a return.
.... So that leaves us looking at the onshore gas to provide any emmediate cash flow, and the company have been talking about a little over a year for that to happen.
.
.. Firstly I think that is extremely optomistic, especially as we haven't even found any gas there yet.... Planning, permission, drilling , testing, and then planning again for production, and finally producing and selling gas all takes time... There should be no surprise that all those steps could easily add another 6 months to a year for any cash to start flowing back to Char,.. and that's always assuming that we find commercial gas from our onshore drilling programme...
.....What if we don't find commercial gas??
. But let's hope that we do, and things run reasonably smoothly, the big question I can see is.
.
.... Have we got enough cash to take us to production, and revenue flow.??
.
. My guess is no...... So look for more fund raising.
.
. As things stand, I see no rush to buy into char.
If they can get the onshore gas --drilled, proven, and into production early, then we may still get revenue flowing early into 2025---but it's very early days to start pinning our hopes on this yet.
--Even if we do hit gas onshore on our next few drills, there will still be plenty of proccedures that will slow us down, before we can bring things to production----much like our current offshore find.
-I would be taking these production date guesses, of any onshore gas discovery, with a huge pinch of salt.
I was just going to say that-----looks like first gas by Q4 24/Q1 25---is going to slip to maybe 25/6.
-
---No great drama, and should always have been expected.
Well whatever is going on, one thing is for sure, this sp is being manipulated and held at a level, to suit something or the other.
.... Isn't that illegal??
Back in August, the company added 5 Mill shares in a block admission... These shares will be issued, from time to time, to the issued shares, as part of the company s insentive scheme.
.. Maybe we are about to issue some to Directors ect at a price based on the closing sp for x amount of days.
.... Just a guess.
Come on somebody must know what's happening here... Own up.
. Stop loss, a buyer, a seller, a placing, an RNS, I not know, but something is happening... Maybe after hours.
Maybe we've had a buyer quietly building a holding (RNS coming?), and now they've finished.. Let's see.
Don't trade CDF's, (or even look at them )----but is this anything to do with the "strike price" somewhere ?
Is anybody going to mention the odd trading, been going on for over a week now, and the sp being held in a tight range.... Something coming???
We should have got Speilberg..... Lol
