I posted the item because it was in line with Graylings opinion regarding International that I happen to agree with. I listen to everyone's take on developments but have made my own decisions during 35 years of trading. Example is holding when number of investors stated that they had sold recently. I cannot say at this stage if that was the correct decision but it's my decision and one I am happy with either way.

Investomania 23/01. Royal Mail’s dividend yield of 6% continues to interest me. I believe there is a risk that inflation could move higher and this may mean the stock becomes more popular. Royal Mail faces risks such as employee action in the UK. But with double digit growth from its international operations which themselves are becoming more important to the overall business, I feel upbeat about the stock’s long term outlook.

We know there is a degree of luck. So I wish you luck with other shares but reserve the RMG luck for the holders. All said tongue in cheek. Best of luck been interesting reading your views.

Reuters) - Royal Mail (RMG.L) on Thursday reported a rise in nine-month revenue, helped by higher parcel volumes and strength in its international business. Parcel volumes during the period rose 6 percent, with 149 million parcels handled over the key December trading period. The postal and parcel delivery company said revenue rose 2 percent for the nine months ended Dec. 24, with revenue at its European parcels business climbing 10 percent. The company said it now expects addressed letter volumes to be in the middle of the 4-6 percent decline range it had previously forecast for the full year. Letters performance was better-than-expected, with addressed letter volumes down 5 percent in the nine-month period, Royal Mail said.

the decline in letters WAS better than expected being down 5%. The initial drop is typical of the early movement with this share. Some selling due to nerves. Give it a while to find it's feet.

Good results but those that wish to drive the SP down will pick at the figures and be as negative as poss. We have seen them in action over previous months. From my perspective, improved turnover, hard working employees and diminished possibly of IA should all improve SP. Now all we can do is wait and see.
