There are always those that wish to see the SP lower Shauny. I ignore drops of this kind unless I can see a reason that's likely to affect the business. Such drops can be seen as an opportunity to top up as I did.

I topped up

Crystal I sold on a previous good rise being a bit concerned about the pension etc. But I did so believing that the SP could well dip. As it happens it did and I have been topping up ever since and am now again in profit. My point really is that then there was a good chance of a decline in the SP. Currently it's my belief that the SP will continue to rise overall. Yes shares do sometimes dip after a report but usually when someone is looking for a negative item that will help their desire for a lower SP. I know from previous chat that you have a grasp of the game so DYOR and be lucky.

Crystal, it's true that you don't go broke while taking a profit. However it's equally true that you don't get disgustingly wealthy taking small profits. Does it seem likely to you that the SP will rise so you can take your profit then drop sufficiently to make it a buy all before the good news contained in the annual report ensures a rise. Decisions decisions.

On the contrary Crystal IMHO greed is a wonderful trait to have in your character. Personally I would make a decision based on the possibility of good news and hold for a subsequent rise.
