Engslove seem a good SME, with a respectable turnover of £1.38 million in 2024. Although this included there work for PHE, which as the only ones working on it, you'd assume was fairly considerable.

It's certainly no PLC though and only paid revenue of £499k to PHE!! So it won't keep it afloat and by any means!! I can't PE wanting any kind of JV with Engsolve, as that's his lifeboat!!

Who's to say he has invested his own money? Have you look at the pension payments of PHE directors? Could easily be his purchase and repaid in pension contributions.

It's a very odd purchase, as he would know there were no contracts pending, more money would be needed to stay open/going concern and the SP was likely to drift down.

The more you look at it, it seems sinical and a possible attempt to bolster image and SP

Divvyup, I think getting anyone to invest close to £7m will be impossible, regardless of discount. Unless there's something fundamental they've not RNS'd yet!

The SP could be testing 0.004p next week, as word gets out they're looking to raise money!!

What people do with their money is up to them. For all you know the investment was borrowed or only every intended as a short term strategy for a quick profit.

Anyone investing will want a big discount, not 25%.

You’ll be looking at almost doubling the shares in issue. Getting the SP back above 1p will be very difficult, even with a contract, as it’ll be years for any revenue.

Investment is hard to come by ATM, both on AIM and generally in the UK. Is a fund of various fund really going to put £7m in here for a small discount?

There must be better options if you’re looking to invest that kind of money.

Alde - I think the general consensus has always been JW has good credentials and that interview supports it.

As for a trading opportunity, I think you'd be better trading something else for quick profits. I see AFC as a very good long term investment.

If the SP drops 5 to 10% per week, it will be interesting to see what the offer price is (assuming they can raise more funds), it could be 0.0020p or lower.

I'd like to think AFC can now hold 10p+ and move back towards 15p. I think confirmation of the SP500 partner and detail around this, will create a lot if interest and open up AFC to a lot of new investors, large and retail.

If you'd bought in to the various other shares like ITM or HUI, you'd be doing a lot better than you are castle. I'd stick you're cash in a FTSE 100 ISA, it will be safer for you

The company does have a fairly low cash burn rate and some staff have deferred salaries.

How do you think they're funding the ongoing work they're doing in Saudi and generally in the GCC?

Al - there's a lot of differences here, including Alex owning a huge percentage of the share capital.

Also, if you know HW's history, the companies tend to do quite well in the early days. Companies like PHE, have been through the cycles and are not defunked.

While not a HW fan, I wouldn't let that put anyone off.

This raise is completely justifiable and a tiny dilution. The price isn't bad looking at the 6 month average!

For several weeks, on and off, they have also been 1p - I snapped a up my batch at 1p, so a lot let they the II has got in. Topped up several times now.
