Peek, valid point but I'd take another view in defence of seeking FDA approval. 1. Looking at it from a population standpoint, world v USA, doesn't stack up. There will be a cost associated to using Parsortix so no way that 7bn people will have access. More likely only those that live in wealthy Western countries with some concern about health which seriously reduces the market size. Further, the USA probably spends more on medical treatment than most/all other countries so profitable opener for AGL 2. I would view FDA approval as an 'endorsement' of a device or drug which means that doctors/hospitals are more likely to use it. It will help open markets for AGL, boost sales and hopefully do similar with the sp. I'm more than comfortable with the focus on FDA approval

REDX have a Financial PR company, KTZ Communications, that appears to handle all investor related matters. I've now mailed them twice, last month and this, following excessive sp drops suggesting they might like to make a confidence boosting statement. The second request came after their most recent positive announcements which you would have thought might trigger a sp uptick not a serious drop. The responses I've had have been bland in the extreme. Typical content free corporate speak. REDX may well be doing some great things with their development research but they also need to recognise that they have investors, existing and potential, that need considering.

Don't want to appear overly negative but given institutional investors undoubtedly know more about the companies in which they invest than those of us on sites like this, why on earth would they be selling a week before results are announced if there was an expectation that they would see an uptick in sp? I have a horrible feeling that the recent drop means that results fall short of January's trading update. Hope not as there have been many opportunities to sell at a decent profit over recent months!!!

G15, I was there yesterday. A good conference albeit one that was interrupted by an alarm and building evacuation!!! Good to see and hear Andrew Newland in person but not sure there was anything that was radically new. I would have liked a very specific FDA approval timescale which has slipped dramatically over the last 12+ months. Not sure whether that's down to Angle's inexperience in these matters or an element of bulls*** trying to big up the sp. If that's the case it clearly hasn't worked!! Also worth noting that Parsotix is being directed towards the research market in the first instance which is a sizeable market. I don't believe the saliva test is appropriate for this sector. My primary concern at the moment is with AN's announcements which have been overly optimistic and that's being polite!!!

Dibs, I mirror your concern about the declining sp, don't have a reason but don't think its competitive. I've been in AGL since Jan last year and one observation is their overly optimistic progress claims. Either backend of 2014 or early 2015 they stated FDA approval later in 2015. Nothing! As you probably know better than me, share movement, up or down, with any research company in this sector is driven by news and I don't believe there has been anything really newsworthy for awhile. Regarding the competitive situation, whilst there has been a number of articles circulating recently on other discoveries/developments the lengthy development and approval cycle should mean AGL gets more than a head start assuming FDA approval. Going back to AGL's poor communication (seems to be a theme with these small bio companies!!!) if you go through Andrew Newland's interview with PI right at the end he is asked what key events and timings thereof can be expected. He answers the what but not the when!!! Notwithstanding my concerns I'm sticking with them but will mail AGL if the sp continues to decline for an explanation and will post any feedback
