That’s a shame, I liked Shaun and rated him. Maybe he was tired being linked with all the negative press around BOO.

JW appreciate the offer but currently negative assets and you're working off profits from 2022 which are now two years out of date and has made substantial losses since and before. I'm afraid it's dead as a dodo but may be some dead cat bounces on the way.

I think i'll stick with BOO.

An update from the board regarding warehouse closures would be great. This silence is defeaning!

It’s nearly time to take a position here. Stock levels finally reducing, large holders still in. MA adding, valued at nearly half of net assets, with substantial liquidity available. Looks a promising investment at these prices.

Daventry Distribution Centre Announcement

We opened UK4 in July 2021 to manage the immediate need for increased capacity following the acquisition of Debenhams and ex-Arcadia brands.

Since 2021, we have continued to invest significantly in our Supply Chain network to build capacity, including investment in automation at our Sheffield DC and opening our US DC in Pennsylvania, to help better serve our customers in the US.

Our intention is to cease our operations, UK Daventry4.

Daventry site will migrate to UK1, Burnley and UK2, Sheffield.

The proposal unfortunately means all colleagues currently employed at Daventry are currently at risk of redundancy from today. We are aware this will be a great disappointment to everyone who has helped to develop the operation at this site over the past three years.

We are hugely appreciative of the work and commitment that everyone has shown, and we want to reassure you that we have not reached the decision to propose this lightly. We believe we have exhausted all other alternative options to avoid this.

We will now enter a period of consultation to work with representatives and colleagues to support this change and will do all we can to support everyone during this very difficult time.

Next steps are to bring your employee representatives together to gather feedback on our proposals as part of a consultation process, which to allow for confirming these representatives and providing training we propose will take place on Monday 11** December.

For the consultation process we propose to work with the previously elected Your Voice representatives to be your elected representation for the purposes of the consultation. However, if anyone has any objections to this then please let us know either now or before close of play on Wednesday 6th December.

We will initially consult with your elected representations who will then discuss the proposals with you direct. There will also be an opportunity for everyone to have at least one individual meeting during this consultation process.

Boohoo want to extend a huge thank you for delivering business as usual during a time of change, it is appreciated how professional everyone is and we will work with you all to support you during this period of change.

That is a huge cost saving closing the Daventry /Leicester/Wellingborough sites. I have previously shared the Sheffield site but I will share again for those who haven’t seen this article before below.

State of the art facility. We have invested heavily in automation and this is just another step in regaining the historical 10% margin Mahmud wants to return to in the not so near future.

My guess that there will be large costs incurred this year but full automation and US distribution centre efficiencies to be realised in our performance next year.

Hexam/SCB please can we keep the dialogue more BOO specific.

I'm sure most of us are not interested in historical online performance.

Mike is the only one with big enough balls to take control of BOO. The likes of NEXT will not be interested due to the on-going and historical ESG concerns. SHEIN could still move later on in the year when they get the needed liquidity from their listing.

I'm still dissapointed there is has been no update, good or bad it would have been interesting to see how we have been performing especially in the US.

BOO and PLT could really do with a few flagship stores at big shopping centres in the UK. Need to start utilising Omnichannel sales like NEXT do so well.

Merger is on the cards here, something fishy at work here.

Great results from THG. They also stock a lot of REVB products. Hopefully more of the same here in a couple of days time. The large storm clouds over BOO are slowly but surely starting to pass. Most notably I will be focused on the performance of Debenhams and how the US distribution centre is faring. Two of our biggest growth opportunities. I really hope for all LTH we are finally returning to growth and profitability 🤞

Pretty sure it will be the Thursday Jeremy. BOO are notoriously poor at communicating their trading dates.

It appears BOO is allergic to Blue in 2024
