Good to see your positivity volt! The whole reasons with spinning debs and Karen off was to improve shareholder value not decimate it! Hopefully Mahmud and Umar club together to buy more to help fend off Big Mike’s fat fingers. Loves a bargain that boy!
I think this is unlikely to reach £1 again…I do think it could graze 80-90p with a spike, that being a takeover offer or better than anticipated results.
This is taking a pasting, will BOO move for the whole holding here?? If their RCF is refinanced at attractive terms and results are favourable I can see this happening...
Breaking: Frasers Group has made a £83m takeover bid for Mulberry England as it criticised the retailer for not informing it about its fundraising plans, saying Frasers "will not accept another Debenhams situation where a perfectly viable business is run into administration". Read more below.

Getting some cross rampers joining the board. This could be a busy week for BOO with results imminent. A great chance to add in the 20s. I’ve got £30ks with right here at the bottom so an amazing opportunity if the likes of MA and SHEIN start squabbling over BOO’s assets. Refinancing is close to which should have a positive effect on the SP.

I think it’s more likely Big Mike makes a move for the lot hence him liquidating Frasers shares, reducing at ASOS and dumping curry’s. Something is definitely in the pipeline and he holds considerable power here with over 25% of voting rights.

It’s a screaming buy under 30p with Big Mike having such a large physical holding and showing no sign of reducing. Shorts are slowly getting jittery. Interesting to see where this goes….how much is each brand worth? DEBS now having 10k brands on board and PLT even in this climate has to be worth circa £200m….i would like to see the Group remain as it is and see if they can start reviving profitability and growth.
Would Umar come in to buy PLT back? So many variables can happen here, I just hope it is good for shareholders!
Quaker I think that’s exactly what they are doing. They are doing an amazing job with Debs and doing the right thing with wholesale. I think if they rebranded as the Debs group much like Frasers that would have an extremely positive effect. Having Umar back too is massive, he is an asset to PLT.
If Shein and TEMU loopholes are closed, DEBS takes off, and we refinance with preferable terms there is no reason why BOO can’t return to its former.
One thing is for sure, the next update is going to be crucial. I’m hoping they answer all of our questions.
May the next 12 months be a turning point for BOO shareholders!
