Complete garbage Simon. The Kamani’s would not have the funds to take the youth brands they would need some sort of consortium. Hence when PLT has followed the more upmarket trend with high margins and moving away from SHEIN.

I think most of the bad news priced in. DEBS growth impressive and this will reinvigorate the group with focus on ESG and double digit EBITDA. Note BOOHOO MAN being described as MAN. Maybe that is the next move. Be great if SHEIN took all of the Youth Brands for circa £500m. Finley has even made the labels profitable 👏

I guess it’s a way to get everyone talking about the brand again. I’m not a fan of what they’ve done but the marketing stunt has certainly worked. Let’s see if it’s translated to profitability!

Big Mike sure to make his move imminently now. Record lows and now at 29%. Capital markets day and results looming. Rebrand done for PLT and different focus. Perfect storm for Big Mike to snatch Debenhams and arrays of brands away from BOOHOO Group for peanuts. 🥜

I’m not sure…just looks like they are now only focusing on profitability. PLT will open physical stores now I’m confident of that. No more cheap tat by the looks of it. SHEIN to hoover all of that market up, even their profits have fallen by 40%x

This business is now going to an incredibly stock light model. Limited ranges and choices now available on PLT. Looks as though all the focus is now on Debenhams.

My view is Finley has reached out to Frasers, gone through the credible plan. Shown them the figures / reasoning behind it. They are happy and have since left BOO alone.
