This morning, Hargreaves Lansdown was showing a sell at 218.50 and a buy at 227.

So, Pat likes TSMC. It's a pity he can't find a few more shares he likes and they could get this dog moving. Or maybe we should have just bought shares in TSMC in the first place? It is up over 281% in 5 years.

The brokers still seem unanimous about a lofty target price. If I look at the five year chart, this has tanked a few times, only to make a spectacular recovery. We can only hope that history repeats itself.

I would guess that many people are in this for the dividends. If you can get 10% in dividends and make a few percent in capital gains along the way, you can easily double your money in 5 to 7 years.

Still, this is the downfall in dealing in shares, you never know what will sideswipe you.

Someone bought over 4 million shares at 216.20 after hours yesterday. A quick profit there if this goes up.

September is statistically the worst month for the stock market so I would guess that it is looking good for anyone with cash in hand.

I think you will have a clearer idea after tomorrows announcement. Otherwise, no one knows where the markets are going. We would not be on this board if we did.
