If they got their empirical analysis wrong having emphatically assured us if its validity, that itself is negligent!-proves my point really.
I can't speak for Alan2017 obviously, but I do remember on June 28th,after the Brockham RNS, he stated that they would have known from the logging results early in the year if it flowed or not. This is the view of an experienced oil professional.
Therefore we have been blatantly mislead by the board-after all at the CC they didn't even try to fill in the gaps about why the February and June rns' contradict each other. Then of course,we have JTP's tweets reinforcing how well (excuse the pun) it flowed-indisputably misleading. And of course, the notorious email Angus sent on March 29th to the OGA,stating there would be no well testing whilst reassuring us to the contrary. The fact that they didn't flow test as promised, suggests they already knew long before it definitely wouldn't flow and lied to us in a succession of RNS statements...otherwise if there was uncertainty about whether it would flow they would have tested it to resolve the uncertainty.
Undeniably there has been a reckless misstating of the facts, and its clear a systematic deceit has occurred.
This isnt just the normal risk of AIM...and I would remind you CL that Angus promoted itself as an oil producer NOT an oil explorer....its a succession of deliberate false claims....an outrageous deception.
If you're an investor here who has lost £40 or 80 or 100k..or even just £5k...why tolerate it?-you wouldn't suit back and accept it in any other scenario.

For the two rns to so emphatically contradict each other suggests at the very least a careless or reckless misrepresentation of the facts, which makes them equally as liable.JTP and the RNS' emphatically stated the oils maturity and flow with a fair degree of certainty ..."geochemical analysis indicates"-conveys a fair degree of empirical certainty.
Either way its blatantly misleading.

We still dont know if Brockham was a duster because they didn't bother to flow test it!
If it was a duster then they already knew back in Dec/January but continued to assure you to the contrary in tweets and rns..economique avec la verite lol
..
Sorry but GL is also equally responsible for the misstatements in the rns...and for the February 3rd rns which seems at the very least recklessly misleading:-"Extensive geochemical analysis...indicates similar maturity to HorseHill"....and GL's own managing directors comments:-
"I am very pleased with the oil analysis confirming kimmeridge at Brockham, with natural flow to the surface and evidence of oil.." a-and yet without any flow tests they completely contradict this rns with the June 28th rns.At the very least this is recklessly negligent and in reality, logging results from Brockham would (according to oil professionals inc Alan2017) have indicated back in December and January whether or not it flowed viably.GL has been complicit in this .misleading of investors.

5p from these levels is extremely ambitious indeed. They suckered a few people in at 4.25p whilst they forward sold.Someone who bought in that last placing needs a 215% return just to recoup losses.
Not impressed in the slightest.
They lied to us over Bro ckham and didn't even bother to flow test.
This is an asset stripping scam, nothing more.
If you bought at 4p or higher, your only chance of recovering your losses is to join our action:

Sorry but we've got plenty of reason to complain...this is long overdue and when the share has gone from 14p to 1p..too little too late
Dont want to put a dampener on the party, but her purchase has done NOTHING for the share price-which still ended the day in the red.
Good news for companies that actually produce oil.....irrelevant unfortunately, for Angus holders
Excellent post this morning Scally! I couldn't agree more. They've failed in their due diligence duties and duty of care to shareholders completely.
Some of these salaries should be paid back into the Angus coffers.
Are you going to the meeting Scally?

Absolutely spot on.Justice and redress must and will happen.
Yes and AIM doesn't have a special dispensation to knowingly mislead and misrepresent the truth or commit insider dealing or any other crime.AIM
companies are under the same legal obligation to behave with propriety and integrity as everyone else.Having said that, its amazing that 11 years after the credit crunch(caused by zero regulation), AIM is still so lightly regulated. It either needs stricter regulation or abolishing.
Torrequas( or is it Mr Fernandes?)-when people have endured losses of 90% and above, because of misrepresentations and negligence, they have every right to be indignant about it and raise it here.Lives have been ruined.
What's happened is a blatant outrage,an egregious deceit.
We aren't just moaning and so it might go up to 3p?-well wow that's no use to pis who bought in at the last placing at 4.25,or higher.
We aren't just moaning,we are acting.Any PI who has bought at 4p or above ...your ONLY chance of recovering your losses is to join our class action:

Unfortunately it could well go back down to 1p or below when the placing is announced in a few weeks.
Predictably the 'pump and dump brigade' are out in force today, trying to lure gullible investors into buying shares here. These people are unscrupulous hustlers, trying to pump up the price before the placing happens in a few weeks, and all these new private investors will be sitting on at least a 50% loss!!
These are paid rampers, renùmerated by the BOD for doing this, and they troll anyone who points it out.
Oh they make such a huge deal of it going up 12% or 4%.....that is like feeding a starving family with one tiny crum.It is odious and frankly immoral that they are lying and pumping this up in this way.
I mean let's get real!-the poor sods who bought in at the last placing of 4.25p will need a 215% rise in share price from here to break even.
The only hope of recovering your money here is not to listen the rampastic spivs who are paid to trick naive investors, but to join our action group class action group....what's happened here is a blatant scandal and you can get redress.

£5k is peanuts to lose...some investors have lost £200k or even more.
Glad to see the sp rise though....only another 1000% to go...lols

Sorry but you're incorrect. It won't take years. There is every incentive for the board to resolve this as quickly as possible, before it hits the newspapers and TV documentaries, and before a criminal investigation starts.
The barrister actually told me in July that "we need to strike whilst the iron is hot"
I too am still a shareholder Scally but without any hint of this action, the share price is where it is because of the Brockham scandal and it will go up until the BOD produce positive news..their dilatoriness over submitting the Balcombe application further harms their cause
B2HSL
The barrister is telephoning me on the 10th of September to discuss funding options and the way forward.
It's all looking very positive, with new evidence accumulating all the time.
I don't know anything about the Flybe case, but was there blatant misrepresentation? -did you try lawyers and media coverage?
This action WILL succeed. Not only has there systematic misrepresentation by the board (plenty of evidence proving this),but also negligence,"undue prejudice against investors", and market abuse.
The breadth and abundance of evidence we have is breath taking, and it keeps growing.

Ja 51 filtered! -I think he just loves to cause arguments on here
Absolutely spot on Jaffa!
Investors who bought at 4p or more have absolutely NOTHING to lose.We all know this isn't going to hit 5p or 7p or 10p or the teens again,so investors who bought in or even averaged down at these prices have been wiped out.
Their ONLY hope of recovering their 90%+ losses is to join the action.

I hear what you say,but most of us who were talking positively about Angus precisely because we believed what the board were saying...we all thought Brockham was going to be a stellar producer, I think a few of us now feel gullible (myself included)-but speaking for myself,I most certainly wasn't 'ramping' merely giving my honest opinion on the basis of the statements by the directors.
