@jayhayes: Not a contract - based on what has been published to date. We got selected as an approved supplier under the PHE framework. Contracts are awarded/attained by respective suppliers as and when needed by PHE over the course of the initial 2 yr period.

You are referring to to different tests. 1) BC antigen test is not yet FDA-EUA approved 2) BC antibody test is FDA-EUA approved.

The company will promptly inform the market as required if it receives formal notice of a significant regulatory event. The allocation of a registration number is simply part of the ongoing FDA process.

'Multi-Analyte' refers to the various versions of the assay we have - x3 as listed on our website and BCs. These assays are related to the machine they can be used on.

Folks, this registration # is a step in the FDA process, it's not a sign-off on FDA-EUA by itself.
The uncertainty is how many more steps or average timings of approval after getting a Reg #.

Yes the Registration Number is part of the process to the FDA-EUA approval process. This is the positive aspect of it - that things are moving along.

@KnightRider: there seemed to have been a delay with the 'Update date" at the bottom of the page. I can 100% say that I check this page everyday and this was not there last week. This registration number is new.
This date updates every Monday so you will only see it change on a Monday morning.

Ok, apologies if you are really on the "Go GDR team".

1) Yes spouting claims that the share price will reach £40, is a bit much at this point. But I think these guys ran numbers for test x machines x days x months to get to that.

2) The dialogue about a TO is definitely not far-fetched, given where GDR sit in the product-life chain.
We know even last week or week before the CEO of Danaher did an interview (https://twitter.com/MWAP80/status/1366749799832289280) saying that they are active on the M&A scene (particularly interested in small and medium sized companies) and Danaher's own website states "M&A is a key part of our growth strategy" .
So yes, it is a 'MIGHT/ CHANCE/ POTENTIAL' of a TO, with credible facts to back it up not just opinions.

@yuyus: I don't believe one can rule out a T/O 100%. IF the numbers are coming in for the PCR tests and then the PoC gets UK awards - it makes financial sense for BC (by extension Danaher) to bring in-house, the final puzzle piece. BC are selling GDR tests which are manufactured by Cytiva. BC and Cytiva are both Danaher Group subsidiaries.

To be fair, he made his calculations at full capacity and then stated "... Unlikely they'll run at full capacity".

The point he was trying to make was not about how many hrs it runs for or shifts per day. It was about how fast the numbers can add up, as a new machine comes online.

Think about one aspect. People do Covid test everyday - not so? Therefore one can assume the machines will run at least for 1 shift everyday. So base some numbers of 1 shift per day and see.

Yes, don't just take everyone's word and run to hills to proclaim. What I'm saying here is test the numbers yourself.

@Guy_incognito - To be honest, did you listen to David Budd's presentation back in Nov 2020?

OUTPUT:
David himself spoke about about the output per machine per 8 hour shift being 1000 tests/8-hr shift. He then stated to assume a lower value of 750/machine/8-hr shift., with 2 shifts per day.
