@Punit101421:
have a look at BGFs website and this will better guide your understanding of their business model. They aim is to facilitate development/ growth for small business' and once the business is able to stand on its two feet and continue on its own, they leave. Business' are built on a model and stick to that regardless of what 'pot of gold' waits at the other end.
They have most likely more than doubled their investment via the loan conversions and subsequent sale.
BGF being out is an AMAZING outcome as its now removes that chunk of shares which were on offer for much less than any other II or PI would let it go for in such volume.
So that's my 2 cents there for you to reference. If you are on here to just stir up mischief then I suggest you follow BGFs business model and leave.
@Llloyd88: I just realised the link is posted does not take you to the correct page - 2 pages seem to have the same link. You can access the page I'm referring to by selecting the following form the menu: PRODUCTS - SARS COV 2 TEST (under Diagnostics).
@Lloyd88: I believe "Pathology and Point of Care Testing, Associated Equipment, Instruments, Consumables, Accessories " is used to be inclusive of all types of testing.
Sysmex Sars webpage has genedrive listed. The other testing kit there is from a Chinese manufacturer (recently added) so this will surely not be considered for any UK framework - with the governments aim to increase UK supply chain development.

@lornah: I had a look at Sysmex product line a while back and they did seem to have some of their own workflows/ equipment. On the Covid front though I don't think they only have 3rd party products for distribution (as per their Sars-Cov webpage). Just my observation - stand to be corrected
@Wolf76: Sysmex has been a distributor for genedrive for a long time (Primarily via Asia markets but with covid they open up to Europe distribution). It been on their website so not sure where on the website you were looking 2 days ago.
From what I was told, WHO approval now holds little weight - so I assume they will leave it there and when approved it approved. The big one will be FDA.
But I agree I said the same thing: "a world health org can even approve a handful of tests". No wonder we are in the state we are
Good evening, ladies and gents..... I've just logged on to be very disappointed in seeing the low standard to which this board is currently setting itself. In the life-cycle of any public company, investors come and go. Knowledge is big and small. We set different targets, different timelines AND assess companies in different ways based on these factors and others.
To carry on trying to prove each other wrong or to prove who has the biggest head of knowledge is completely foolish. If we cant agree to disagree, then we are not in the same reality.
So folks, please lets not carry this trend into a new trading week and beyond. All the best and may the day come where GDR becomes a stronger and more successful diagnostic company!! Good night
Just found this page today on BCs website where it highlights their work with GDR:
"Read the latest news releases about our collaborations with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, genedrive, and Fry Laboratories." - https://www.beckman.com/resources/product-applications/infectious-diseases
Also, this page "https://www.mybeckman.co/news/genedrive-partnership" currently has a re-direct on it. So seems that some work is being done on this url/webpage in the background.
@Pineapple288: we were added to the FDA non-EUA approval list back in December as per the RNS. So this is in itself is not linked to recent buys (unless the wider market is now reading this information - which is a stretch in my opinion). The last few days are more associated with the wider Diagnostic sector movements feeding off US and UK government announcements and tender awards being announced soon, plus some talk of mutations evading current vaccines.
However, we are currently not aware of any material sales via the US market. This does not mean nothing is being ironed out in the background as there has been some interesting findings on the BCs website (which is just speculative at the moment).
These Google searches are also starting to show new text on the Google results page itself (the actual page is not live yet).
"Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is taking actions in the best interests of our associates, customers, and business partners as we navigate the growing threats of ...
As some investors were pointing out the 'genedrive-partnership' search results on BCs website, I've checked a few times since that link was removed. Now I get a new search return of "HEPA Kit: i7 - Beckman Coulter".
The i7 is the automated system we are working with BC on. The link does not take you to an active page yet, but its another interesting development. Just an observation.
Fully agree with @KR1 comment regarding the individual on Twitter. He's been ramping saying 10x bagger. With such bold claims I would have thought you knew the company inside out.
So while I too am confused regarding the salary and bonuses given (which was noted in their reports end of last year), one cannot go from one extreme to the next. Ulterior motives?!
I always ignore the big rampers and derampers. It's too obvious their motives
