Bit of both!!

I’m thinking NCYT will get a bigger slice of a similar sized PCR cake. Plus increased LFT use. He’ll push Britishness.
Phase1/Phase2 now outmoded, we’ll get awarded a large slug of business, but in a revised format to include ProMate.
I’m pretty confident that thugs are heading this way, but always happy to hear the thoughts of others.

OK, now that relative peace appears to have broken out, back to business.....
What do we actually think our PM is going to announce today?
For me, I think it’ll be a gradual reduction of lockdown, bass on mass LFT testing, backed up by increased PCR clinical testing (they have to stay on top existing and further mutations/variants). We won’t get any detail on awards, but I’m expecting a move towards trumpeting all things UK derived. Do I expect this, or hope for this? Not sure, but that’s my thought process at present. I believe the ultimate outcome will be very positive for several UK manufacturers, not least NCYT. We’re embedded, sitting at the top table and hope we’re beginning to be seen as an integral part of the machine, rather than just a supplier.
Having done a lot of personal groundwork last week, I’m overwhelmingly positive re NCYT at present.
Thoughts?

Can we not get beyond the us OR them (LFTs/PCRs) arguments and deal with the reality that it will always be us AND them? The idea that it’s all or nothing for both is, quite frankly, stupid.
In some markets it will be skewed heavily to one or other, but the total market will remain a mixture of both. Realising that unarguable truth doesn’t make you anti NCYT!!!
When it comes to investing, tribalism or blinked belief is a recipe for disaster. Don’t get sucked in to it....

Would be interesting to know how many NCYT holders also hold other Covid stocks, I’d imagine quite a few. The idea that we should all support an investment exclusively, like we might a football team, seems quite ridiculous to me. Not a good investment strategy either.
Ah well, each to their own....

Why do you have to ‘pledge your allegiance’?
We’re investing, not taking part in tribal warfare!! For what it’s worth, I hold some AVCT shares, although far less than NCYT. Doesn’t make me a bad man, just common sense to me. Suspect many on here do to, but frightened to say so in case they’re branded traitors!! Madness.
Let’s get away from the petty tribalism, it’s ridiculous. This situation isn’t black and white, never has been....

No need for all the discord, let’s just see what today and this week brings. Suspect it’s going to be turbulent, but with a very positive outcome for NCYT. BJ may well come out flying the LFT flag, but it’ll need to be backed up by PCR - from predominantly UK suppliers who are imbedded in the infrastructure. We’re chasing bigger rewards than just a few million LFTs, they’re not our competition.
Have FUN, but let’s keep everything factual and friendly....

I do actually think that the total number of PCRs will drop. However, just as BJ is trumpeting new UK developed LFTs, he’ll also want to make sure PCRs used are predominantly IK developed. So, even though the PCR cake may reduce slightly (or, at best, stay flat), NCYT will be thrown a larger slice of it.
LFTs and PCRs will have to work hand in hand.
NCYT is imbedded within UK testing system.
We appear obsessed with the UK only - it’s a small market in a huge world.
NCYT ain’t perfect and their communication is inconsistent. However, it holds enormous potential. Not ‘make me a millionaire tomorrow’ potential, but proper, good short, medium and long term investment potential.
Gonna be a good week. Certainly an interesting one. Strap in.

A few people are taking a rather pessimistic view on events.
No need, it’s going to pan out very well for us. LFTs aren’t our competition, let them have their 5 minutes in the sun. We’re after far bigger things....

If I had something in black and white to share I would, but just a lot of conversations to verify several bits of info. I’m a cynical old sod and rarely take internet ‘news’ as gospel.

Agree on Burse, only reason to list on that is if you’re France centric.
Not a quick exercise moving to Nasdaq though. GM virtually said he wants off AIM, that would be a ‘must’ for me.

No issue on what I said. Done my own research and yesterday’s news isn’t the major positivity driver for me. There is lots happening and it’s painting a pleasant picture.

Add this to the wording of the newest jobs being advertised and the future does indeed look bright. Add in the potential benefits of the AZ collaboration and it’s all coming together. Not 100% sure, but I’m considerably more optimistic than I was earlier in the week. I’ve done a lot of homework on the situation this week. Really looking forward to next week.

Not promoting ProMate etc is very telling indeed. Any big issue that took major products off sale would be a compulsory RNS, so not that.
I think foreseeable stock may already be spoken for. Don’t tell anyone though, it will only get a bit rampy!!

All for positivity, but let’s build it on confirmed facts - we’ve had too many false dawns. Really hope that our saliva based PCR with AZ is in the mix, but all I’m saying is let’s not assume so. There are other saliva based tests out there, but this looks a very promising development as far as effectiveness is concerned. We all know that BJ doesn’t always go for the best though, his track record is to go for the easiest and cheapest PR fix.
I’m excited by this link up with AZ, but let’s see what comes out today before we count our chickens....

Interesting snippets of news yesterday, but aren’t we getting a bit ahead of ourselves here? BJ did indeed mention saliva tests a couple of weeks back, but has been trumpeting nothing but LFTs ever since. Have I missed something, other than we’ve been working hand in hand with AZ on internal saliva tests? Don’t get me wrong, I obviously hope they do use PCRs in schools, but I think we need far more solid info before building false expectations.
Love the positivity, but shouldn’t we see how it pans out today and what more info comes to light.

Anyone sitting with open stop losses on this will get their pants pulled down, they’ll get eaten up and play into the MMs hands.

People may have made the conscious decision, like myself, to stay away from constant SP monitoring and BB arguing - it’s not good when trying to exercise patience! I feel for those that bought in higher, but genuinely believe that the business is sound and currently undervalued. If GM plays this well, and the MMs stop their manipulation whilst he’s doing this, then there are further great rewards to come. It’s difficult, I know, but step back and allow it to play out - if you believe. If not, look for alternative options.
