Plaicefish, for such a high posting individual you’ve gone very quiet. What’s the logic behind this?

I question whether EasyP had been banned for promoting Twitter/X ( posts and profile disappeared) and Plaicefish immediately starts a new thread (Twitter/X - Perfect) saying it was a lie, they hadn’t been banned. Strange. They seem to have got his/her sign ins all wrong there….truly incompetent fool.

DYOR people, and always question motives.

Agreed, those invested in the long game will be rewarded, those looking for a quick punt might get frustrated.

This RNS doesn’t just reflect COPL’s thinking though, it’s clearly the first tangible outcome of negotiations. The JVP will have wanted to see a restructuring to ensure stability and display integrity. It’s been given it.

It was an extremely positive RNS, in my mind, and one that I’d been hoping for.

If you’ve invested in a share long term, it’s only natural to be positive about it. If, in that position, you had misgivings or doubts about it, you might want to discuss and allay your doubts. However, it’s highly unlikely that any genuine investor would openly rubbish their own investment. That would be slightly counter-intuitive, yes? So, it would appear wholly natural to question the motives of those who sit on a BB all day, using any excuse possible to lower sentiment in a stock, yes?

Don’t just read what these complete strangers are writing, always ask yourself why they’re writing it….repeatedly.

To anyone that actually understands big ticket negotiations, that RNS was clearly the first structural/financial change that would have been driven by a prospective JVP. Positive. Faced with this, the focus of all evil was put on JBER by some. Slightly desperate, but quite amusing.

You gotta laugh, but pity as well….

Basically as I stated - but with far more detail than some people actually deserve!! You spoil them….

Some clearly don’t grasp the sheer size and complexity of the deal being negotiated. Perhaps some do, but are simply frustrated that it doesn’t suit their personal trading position.

Big thing to see here is that RNS had big JVP input, or at least the actions would have. Very basically, a ‘get your act together, steady the ship, then we’ll close a deal’ RNS. Seen them before, will see them again. COPL would have to screw up big time for it not to proceed from here - and they’re now in a FAR stronger financial position not to.

Similar thinking, Tiburn. They’ll either be an all in player as news or released, or a relatively straight forward seller. Personally, I see it being the latter and they’re simply waiting (like most of us) to maximise their return.

Interesting train of thought. Originally, I’d expected them to exit stage left pretty quickly, but they’re still there….
