Pleased for you. If all the genuine long holders stay strong, then there will be a nice return soon. Not going to be an easy ride, but then I really wouldn't want to be a shorter come Tuesday.....

Following the very positive news regarding AML this evening, I'd suggest that this chat room is going to be bombarded with negative posts, all driven by the usual suspects. Stay strong, remember why you invested, acknowledge how things are about to improve - and simply ignore the de-ramping assassins.They are being paid to relieve you of your shares, simple as that. They seek a reaction (they are paid to get one), so don't give them what they want.
Just ignore them and enjoy Tuesday...….

Absolutely, bloody fantastic. Dr Palmer had some great ideas, but just didn't control things well enough.
That's some seriously good incoming talent.....

Whichever way you look at this, it would be a genius move by Stroll - if it turns out to be fact. Let's see.

It's a bit of a red herring. AML are in effect title sponsors, but what this gives them is the opportunity to actually invest in the team over a 5-10 year period if they choose to. It won't be top of their priority list at the moment, but could make sense should Stroll be successful in getting the F1 team up the grid. With Mercedes power units and the revised F1 funding, I think he has a good chance - but needs to replace his son as a works driver, if he's serious.

I'm a reasonable guy and like to hear both sides on a discussion too, prior to making my own decisions. However, it's your timing that's sad. as it's incomprehensible that two supposedly intelligent people, with no invested interest in AML, just happened to be on here within minutes of that question being asked. There's obviously an agenda at play, or you guys seriously need to get out more, cause this just looks very, very sad.

Speaks volumes, doesn't it? A potential investor asks a question early on a Sunday morning of a bank holiday weekend. Who are the first two to respond? Two people with absolutely no interest in AML, who think it's a toxic investment and who feel it's over-valued. Strange (and somewhat sad!) behaviour from people with no interest in AML - of all the chat rooms on all the www, they just happened to be on this one!
Laughable.

Guys, there are many registered prototype and pre-production test bed DBXs on the road. The cars referred to on their Twitter feed are the first cars produced on the new St Athan's line, but they're not full production cars, but line test cars. I'm trying to find out when the first full customer/dealer production cars are due. Not confirmed yet, but it could be this week, or next. That would be a major step forward.

Agree Pau1Oz, a lighter DBX with the twin turbo V12 would be a serious toy....and I think they'll do it in a couple of years.

They have made cars, but not full production cars. These are the first 'line test' vehicles. Once fully checked, production cars will roll. End of the week is possible.

McLaren are indeed selling some high end cars GW, but that does not mean their selling them profitably. They are suffering from similar issues to AML, the difference being that they don't have a fully developed game changing model about to hit the market. If they don't up their transaction price, and quickly, then they could be in trouble.

Yep, some serious problems at McLaren. I don't underestimate the job to be done at AML, but I genuinely feel they are in a far stronger position - and with a critically acclaimed new model about to take a big chunk of a very profitable market. Add to that the potential (during Gaydon closure) to get out of existing stock and the whole AML commercial model could be completely different by the end of 2020. Could be. Huge amount of work to make it happen, but Stroll's track record on delivering turnarounds is impressive. Just mu personal opinion.

Very little chance of a DBX coupe in the foreseeable future. Far too costly before the DBX concept is proven commercially.

Very unlikely that a small manufacturer like AML will develop an alternative DBX shell, this is very expensive. The derivatives you refer to are likely to be same shell derivatives - V6 hybrid, V12 twin turbo Vantage etc.

BTATH1, I saw quite a few when at Gaydon just before lockdown and it really is a great looking car with huge 'road presence'. I had been in two minds after only seeing photos, but in the metal the car is amazing. Far, far better looking than the Bentley and RR offerings....and instantly recognisable as an Aston. It will be a huge, highly profitable hit. A genuine turning point for the company.....
