Major European stock indexes traded mixed in premarket hours on Thursday as investors assessed the latest financial results by Airbus, Nestle, and Renault. On the economic front, fresh reports on Swiss foreign trade and industrial output, as well as Spanish foreign trade, are set to be released later in the day. Additionally, global attention will turn to the first meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace, which will be hosted by US President Donald Trump.
The DAX lost 0.56%, and the FTSE 100 declined by 0.09% at 8:00 am CET. At the same time, the CAC 40 added 0.08%, while the Euro Stoxx 50 was flat.
The euro gained 0.13% compared to the dollar to sell for %1.17995 at 7:58 am CET. Simultaneously, the pound traded flat against the greenback, going for $1.35006.
