Once the science is ready (Lindy's decision), you simply have to trial it. VanVan Yes, Scancell did say some time ago that they have signed NDAs with several pharmas.

I think both platforms have a chance of a deal but moditope more of a chance. I have the feeling that big pharma just require more trial evidence before going for a deal. After all, buying Scancell may well mean scraping other programs that have cost many millions. Any 1 of the 3 trials could provide compelling evidence of the quality of the science and lead to that much awaited inflection point.

Yes I know but I wouldn't want the situation of committing too many resources to scib1 combo at the expense of the other 2 trials. With Scancell's limited resources it's always been a balancing act. Let's see what they say about the other 2 trials.

Anyway, we still retain that wonderful science. If you believe in it, then 8p is a very cheap price. The 3 card trick of GC win, Biontech deal and successful modi1 trial is still on IMHO

I would respect an admission that they screwed up the scib1 combo trial.

I always felt uneasy about the American adventure. A successful trial is a successful trial wherever it is run. Scancell seems to have enough American scientists as supporters anyway.

I actually like the idea that the grand challenge will be jointly led by Lindy and Ugur Sahin.
It clearly shows Biotech's commitment to moditope.

Great science as provided by Lindy and her team deserves to be managed well.
Each of the trials should have a project plan comprising
1 a list of tasks
2 task dependencies
3 people assigned to tasks

In addition
1 a risk register
2 risk mitigations

The plan and the risk register should be frequently updated.
The plan and the risks should also be peer reviewed.

The fact that they have got to this late stage in the scib1 combo trial and then announce this delay makes me more than suspicious that detailed planning is just not happening.

IMO CH, RG and JC should be the 3 project managers and they should meet frequently to update each other and continually review the 3 plans.
In a company of 22 employees, the BOD needs to roll up sleeves and do some work at the coalface.

I would hope that the other 2 trials will be better managed.
