Project Blueprint
a) A new vaccine MODI3 for several hard to treat cancers with poor prognoses
b) If the vaccine fails the project inclues diagnostics to determine the
best targets for the cancer
c) TCR treatment for those patients that do not respond to Modi3 the vaccine
This is the only contestant that actually sets out to cure certain cancers albeit using a
yet to be developed vaccine.
Obviously it all hinges on Modi3 being effective but, as we already know, Lindy's work
is well known to CRUK. As we have discovered recently, Scancell's relationship with CRUK goes back a long way.
The project includes some of the leading lights in the cancer immunotherapy scene.
It is also noticable that Lindy's team has the biggest contingent from biotech companies
- 4 to be exact (Scancell, ISA pharma, BionTech and Genetech). The nearest the other
contestants come to this is only 1.
Project Blueprint long term prospects
Lindy has said twice now in presentations that her ambition is to cure all cancers.
Could Project Blueprint be why she has started saying this?
Should PBP be successful based on Modi3, then IMO it will not end there. It is entirely logical to extend the project to include Modi1 and Modi2.
But why stop there? Why not also add immunobody vaccines to the project?
These may well be the goto vaccines for early stage cancers and/or patients with resected tumours.
Perhaps CIs will also figure in the mix in combo with immunobody.
Also see what Lindy herself says about PBP
"We believe this approach will facilitate the development of a comprehensive strategy of combinatorial cancer treatment for patients with most types of cancer.
Our unique academic-biotech-clinical partnership, facilitating access to reagents and clinical trials, positions us for success in this space"
about delivery
"Alongside this, the team will be testing a variety of ways of delivering the treatment to make sure that their vaccine gets to the tumour as efficiently as possible."
Lindy was one of the first users of Trigrid and maybe the first, and now she have moved on to nano vesicles for the SCIB2 trial.
She understands the importance of efficient vaccine delivery.

This is all predicated on Lindy's vaccines being successful, but it is the obvious ambition and scope of PBP that makes it well ahead of the opposition IMO.
In fact I would say it is streets ahead.
